I'm sorry but it's very simple minded to act like the Bengals have always been awful. Do they have bad years? Yes. But they've actually been quite relevant and competitive since 2000. With Carson Palmer before his injury they were becoming a real threat. Then they were continuously in the playoffs with Andy Dalton. Joe Burrow is absolutely elite and IMO the clear #2 QB in the NFL. But acting like Cincinnati has been a dumpster fire for decades is not true at all.

That amazing team is so good because Jalen is running it. Aj Brown was NEVER a Top 10 receiver before coming to Philly, no one was talking about Devonta Smith as a Top Tier receiver in 2021, Dallas Goedert wasn't known outside of Philly before last year, now we have one of the best receiving corps in the league and Dallas Goedert is undisputedly a top 4 TE. This all happened because of Jalen Hurts evolution.

Browns ownership is one of the most liquid ownerships in the league. Part of the Watson deal was to flex on the league with how much money they could cut and put into escrow that most other owners are not in a position to do.

Man,you all don’t understand. Playing in the AFC North,you are facing some of the best defenses in the National Football League. The physicality,scheme,down hill linebacker play,excellent corners that play man coverage you have to process quickly. Go through your progressions,find the open holes in the defense and you better be able to fit the ball in a shoe box! Joe Burrow does it to perfection. It’s a much harder division to have good quality quarterback play. Deshaun Watson isn’t playing in the AFC South anymore. He’s in the big boy division now!
