- I wonder how many of you expected this outcome...
I explored basically everything I could think of, I even looked around the mod folder to see if there was any clue...
Here is to hoping for some awesome future updates, with how much quality this mod has displayed, I think the future is really promising! :D

i think it would be cool if there was an ending where you could do something (maybe go to some special place and get something, kinda like the mark of communication normally) that would prevent the rot from taking you over, and would let you clean the rot, and you would get the ending after cleaning a certain amount of rot or something

Sommething i noticed, pebbles says your life is worthless, but he also says youll waste it helping him, so either at this point in the timeline he thinks of himself as beyond saving, or as less then worthless, just a thought
Pebbles feels extreme guilt for what he did to Moon and under his facade of self-acclaimed divinity, he actually suffer from deep issues regarding his self worth. These are implied when Seven Red Suns compares their situation to bugs and he rejects it or when he casually talks about killing himself as a "solution" to the big problem even though the idea itself is completely ridiculous.
Would be cool if cleaning pebbles unlocks a cut scene where rivlet enters pebbles chamber with you there. As pebbles still needs his power in this case as thanks he unlocks the city to get the spare power core thats in that weird grave room in the temple. You help rivlet out with there quest for moon befor heading back home.

"Don't waste your worthless life". Damn, just think about the level of acceptance and total loss of hope for recovery he had to say that. He put a "worthless life" above his because he knows that every action would be in vain.

The dev really nailed how Pebbles talks. That first ending was so sad but beautiful. Like the Hunter mod endings…
i really hope the save ending is hard as hell to achieve because breaking the entire canon of the game with one mod should be a reward in my opinion
The ending with pebbles is less sad, because this particular rot seems to be more tame than any other rot cyst we see, and now they’re not forever alone.
Man the endings were sad.. but I must admit, it is SO SATISFYING to kill those long legs in one hit!
The rot core secret door would be an amazing idea, may even be the way devs will update it. I think that the core of the rot would be the ending we all want
So this scug is designed specifically to be anti-rot or rot pesticide

The blue berry's tasted funny and slugcat had a tast of the consequences of expired food
in the ending where you become the rot, you should be able to keep playing on that save and your scug will actually be the rot. it should function like safari mode.

I don't think there is a way to save Pebbles. I think the most this Scug can do is slow down the Rot. There will probably be an ascension ending, an ending where you just return to Solemn Ceremony and an ending where you go back to Pebbles after you go back to see Solemn Ceremony. Maybe Solemn Ceremony gives you something to increase your Rot absorbtion and you go back to sacrifice yourself to slow down the spread of the Rot in Pebbles. This scugs campaign would then essentially fit in the timeline before Rivulet and Saints campaigns. Other than the potential endings I'm looking forward to the new content of the mod, mostly the new areas and potential new enemies.
Lets hope the new endings come soon!

Can you explain how to clear it every time you touch it, because I have to rub the tentacle against the rot and it just randomly does it

It might not seem like Pebbles cares, but you can tell he does. When he tells you to go back instead of wasting your time helping him, he mentions Solemn Ceremony. He knows the slugcat is important to him. If you value Solemn Ceremony, you will go back.
It would be crazy if you could control him after he becomes rot infested

Be realy cool if arti still is kicking too. Considering reincarnation is a thing it may be possible there in the city too.

@@graycatsaderow not sure it works like that all the time. The ai of the game seems to remember even if you die. Also arti may be somewhat unique now due to being fully locked out of ascending. It also could be a timeline where she just lives that long.
that isn't how it works. artificer wouldve reincarnated into something else
@@andrewrobb3258 gameplay isnt canon to lore(they remember because when dying,you respawn in a timeline where you havent died yet)
@@graycatsaderow both monk and suviver meet up if you get them the outer expance endings. This dose suggest more is going on then just quantum immortality. Some other form of Rebirth seems to occur. Whether it's will or some connection between characters I can't quite say. Thou arti being unique in the geno ending would probaly lead to her having a odd Rebirth cycle.
When i tried to play it kept freezing. I even tried the version before latest patch but then it just crashed when trying to load in ;-;
Have you tried removing Solace? They’re incompatible at the moment and disabling it worked for me

@@Guidingsonar maybe try validating your game files? On the game page, hit the settings, go to properties, go to installed files, and hit validate the integrity of the files
