This is what the country needs - sit down with folks with a bucket of chicken a jug of sweet tea and laugh. We use to be able to do that before everyone got super sensitive, but I am 73 what the heck do I know?
I think that might be one of my favourite reactions to this gem of a routine. Fun fact, as a German: Here it is not considered racist to put all the stereotypical german stuff into a gift basket, it's just..well. Considered..a gift basket.
So I'm guessing u saw his India video then? He was pushed by Germans at a show and made a holocaust comment that stunned everyone. Yet they laughed. I am part German tho I'm born and raised in america. I was shocked by his sudden comment. 😂 I kept thinking they would be offended. I'm glad they weren't. I think I may have been shocked really because Hitler was a huge event still taught in American history. I got bored hearing it for so many years in high school over n over again. But it def was a huge thing, and not to mention, I had no idea I was part German until my dad told Me. I stared at him like, "I'm not happy with that." I should learn more on my German heritage, but Hitler kinda killed it for me. But I guess all nations have there bad sides in history at some point. I'm part French too. They didn't exactly have a great history either. Yikes. I still am interested in learning about my German heritage. Just took me awhile to wanna learn about it. I found out my american last name is from a German name meaning warrior/army. Made me happy cause I roleplay (write) warrior cats. And avatar James Cameron is my fave movies who is a warrior and previous marine in the movies. Jake sully (character) also shares my bday. ❤
Gabriel Iglesias is popular on the west coast. I went to a show a few years back where his crew was hosting a $10 amateur show, nothing big. At the end of the show, Gabriel shows up and does over an hour on stage working out his material for his new special at the time. Good times 👍
Minus the cigarettes if someone gave me that gift basket I'd love it. 😂 That said the funniest part of this bit for me is the fact his impression of the front desk lady sounds exactly like my exes mother.
Went to see him do his first show on his european tour last year in Royal Arena in Copenhagen - it was wild! 15.000 people just chanting "FLUUUFFY! FLUUUFFY! FLUUUFFY!" as he got on stage, and stomping their feet so the entire building rumbled! Was his first show since the pandemic started, and you could clearly tell he was enjoying himself! :) Ended up extending his show for about 40 minutes just because he wanted to - and people didn't mind at all! I’m an old white man and I grew up on fried chicken, watermelon. Kool Aid was cheap so we had it every day. BBQ potato chips and sunflower seeds also. Now I have never seen BBQ sunflower seeds. I’m gonna have to see if I can find some of those.

I live between the hood and a trailer park. On 4th of july, we have a racist cookout. Normal mixed neighborhood cookout. Just everyone brings one racist side dish. Not for eating, usually. Last year, i got a mayo cake. Just... white bread layers and mayo... our mexican neighbor brought milk he swore was from everyone's dads. I went extra. Chicken-fried watermelon balls. I regretted it immediately. 2 reasons. 1, it was actually delicious. The hot n cold contrast and the salt-on-watermelon kind of margarita-ish flavor. 2. I had to freeze the watermelon balls before breading and frying, and they get soggy within 5 minutes. That whole cookout, i was bent over the fryer, making them to order.
