goodluckboy72 Ancient sounds of earth music still connected through our souls... That small child dancing naturally to the sounds is a perfect example of that!
I love the fact that small children will enjoy themselves without the self-consciousness that older children and adults have. That little girl is obviously fascinated and enjoying herself - but of course she is enjoying a fantastic performance. This young lady is really a pleasure to watch and listen to. Thanks.
My uncle is a music professor in the USA and says the truth in music is easy to see. Just place a small child in front of the it and see what happens. Here is easy to see Adele that you make REAL music. Thanks for playing!
O nome deste curioso e "familiar" instrumento musical é Didgeridoo. (didiridu)
this is exactly the kind of dance i would have done if i was there fits very well to that instrument the beating of the feet on the ground, tells that you are alive and in connection with mother nature this is the original dance
whom'ever was behind the camera did an amazing job... Kudo's to the camera operator! i felt like i was actually there.... i only wish i were and i dont know y
Astounding as ever although I would never beat on my didg with a stick that is why I Velcro one stick to my leg and beat it with the other or shaker. Yes she is nice on the eyes but when she plays what a treat for the ears.
+Bruno Sellin It's a technique, you use your mouth/cheeks as a reservoir, push air out and inhale at the same time. It takes some practising before you master it and let the sound continue whithout interruption.
I cant even understand how she chirps and tooths and horns while maintaining the drone or at least the illusion of the drone. Is there actually breaks in the sound and our mind just connects the sound?
The drone is always there. It's not an illusion. I'll break it down for you mate. The drone comes from a repetitive vibration of the lips. While vibrating your lips, you create sounds through your voice box which synthesize with the vibration of your lips. Take the dingo howl for instance, to achieve this, she is essentially saying "Ka" down the didj while vibrating her lips, hence the sounds.
Not quite, mate. The drone must be interrupted for the toots (horn blast-like sounds). Impossible to do both at the same time. The "vocalizations" (squeals and weird noises) however are played simultaneously with the drone, using the circular breathing technique.
Yes, I believe the idea of what it means to be an "adult" is one of the reasons we have so much mental illness in our society - people are not allowed a proper childhood, one where their imaginations are allowed to run wild and it's rare that they are "in trouble" for things that are really very arbitrary in the grand scheme of things. Creativity is squashed by the "adult" mindset - it's nothing but death.
Adele, just play this out of Australia and you will be fine, if you do it around other less lenient aborigines they might get upset with you for insulting their culture in Australia.
Well, that's the problem - you had a crappy childhood because your parents didn't treat you well. I know all about this, I was the same way. I never wanted children or anything to do with them, but I've come to terms with it (it's taken nearly 40 years) and am still working on being the best dad I can, even if my dad wasn't the best (because his dad wasn't). You can overcome the bad parenting you suffered, but it will require a lot of effort - it's totally worth it, though. :)
No women ever plays the didge in our culture only time a woman lays their hands on it is for certain ceremony it is scared to us learn our culture is breaks my heart to see this ....shamed to witness this now i turn my back our culture is who defines us not this ..
Spreading music is pure joy. That is productive. In order for her to play at this level she has put in many, many hours of practice (outside of having to pay for food/shelter/etc...) which takes major dedication. To me that equals work. Just because she can't put "Busker" on her resume does not exclude her contribution from being either productive, or work. Artists are just as valid as bankers.
Pure magic, and the child dancing tells it all.

Your style of playing is magical. I feel what you are playing as an alternative style is something I would like to aspire to :0)

les enfants ne cachent pas leurs émotions comme les adultes ... dommage !!!!;)

techno music :))))
It is taboo for women to play this instrument very offensive to aboriginal Australians

Then you hate yourself.
why work and be productive when u can do this?
Spreading music is pure joy. That is productive.
