So, canonically the police reports said Fernando's death was a freak accident, but Hitman 2016's opening cutscene shows 47 taking him out through strangulation. This makes me think the authorities are aware of 47 and the ICA's activities, and are either too terrified to talk, or in some other way made to look the other way. Just a thought. I figure the ICA is a lot bigger and more important than we thought.
Blood money had that great gimmick which never reached it's full potential called: notoriety. And one option was to bribe police department to lower it. While, yeah, this inconsistency is probably just a mistake from IO's part, 47 bribing police, what was an option back then, is a fun way to look at it.
@@filipratkovic5561 I doubt it was 47 who made those bribes, rather his superiors. We know almost nothing about the ICA itself, for all we know, they could be up there with providence. Plus, we know what happens to people openly on 47's tail, I'll bet anyone who has the slightest idea what they are is smart enough to keep their mouth shut. My point is: I'd rather look at this as a deep lore hint than a mistake, much more interesting I think.
@@SavageFreddy33 Doubt away, it's your right, you can doubt that Earth is round, won't change the fact that it is. IO did slip up there, and 47 did bribe police himself in game continuity with HIS money he got from his hits (if he bribed at all). ICA seems to be nowhere close to Providence, we are talking about agency which has been fooled and led to do hits by several mistery figures over and over again XD And that's only hits done by 47, maybe it happens even more often, we just don't know that much about hits done by other agents. I mean, obviously, ICA keeps being used as a puppet my game villains cause poor writing, but that's not a in game explanation. In game explanation would be that it's a chaotic agency (especially considering everything what happened in Absolution) which barely stands it's grounds probably serving as a puppet to various political figures so they let them operate.

It's like Burnwood says, they stay away from politics, they just do what they're asked and aren't suppose to ask questions. Anyways, I know it's a mistake, but regardless, both are technically canon. I'm just trying to fill in the plot hole with a little theory I think is pretty sound.
Absolutely brilliant! I throughly enjoyed this piece. You touch on many key points that make you realize how truly rich the lore is in the series. I’m quite excited to see what is to come in, Hitman 3. I have a feeling we will indeed see, Hector Delgado again. Perhaps connected to my next suspected targets, the Moreno cartel. 🧐

Nice video. You missed Hector’s appearance in Miami though, in one of the VIP party areas he is having a meeting (coke deal) with the sheik that also appeared in Paris. I assume, he (The sheik) could be a target in the new hitman game, as one of the missions they revealed is Dubai and so I also think Hector will make another appearance or mention.
