Please do ! I love your lessons, and whenever I study a Japanese grammar point I always check your channel to see if you've covered it. Now that I'm becoming more intermediate, I've mastered most of the content on your channel. I'm really looking forward to seeing more advanced grammar lessons from you in the future. You're one of the best teachers I've ever seen.

I’m kind of a beginner I started learning Japanese last year in 2018 but mostly learning the alphabet systems, at least I still learned some phrases.

I love the fact that you jump right in with grammar/sentence structure - something most others (including the big apps and many textbooks) simply won't do to scare people off. Oh well, these lessons are super important to understand asap. Also, I like the way you color code everything. That makes understanding the sentence much easier. Thank you, Misa

In portuguese, we use Aqui, Ai Ali the same way Japan uses Kore Sore Are. Also quite amazing how we also use "Ne" at the end of some sentences to give the idea of friendly emphasis, just like in Japanese.

True, in English there's no equivalent, but in Portuguese we use "este", "esse" e "aquele" with the exact same meaning as Japanese. I wonder if other germanic languages have different terms for "that" but it got simplified in English...

I agree. Some of this I already knew, but the extra information on things like Konnichi-wa(ha) and formal v. informal are really helping me with things I've found confusing. Had also just learned pasoko and been like. How did I go from komputa to nooto-pasoko. Was so lost! 😂 Domo arigatou misa-sensei! Hontou-ni. (Not sure if that's right, but still. The sentiment is there..... I think I wrote in informal though.... 😅? )

Very cool; italian makes the distinction between "codesto" (similar to それ) and "quello" (あれ) too, although "codesto" is not commonly used. The extra uses それ gets are mapped on "quello" though.
    Recap:
"codesto" : that (close to listener) : それ
"quello" : that (away from both the listener and the speaker) : あれ
By the way, "this" is translated into "questo"; and all of this is not accounting conjugations for gender and number.
