Tbh, it's not that hard to think of OP characters if you're creating them off of the strongest characters you know. It's an interesting thought experiment. Just think of the strongest character you know and think of what might be able to beat them. Now a sentient robot/magical being who can teleport anything, anywhere is OP until you have a direct opposite character that nullifies all magic or something. Or they are a gag/toonforce character where "deadly" attacks might not actually work as intended on them (I classify Saitama, Arale, Popeye in this category). Or people with other equally OP abilities like "I am a 4th dimensional being therefore the body you see is not my real body but a projection, bla bla bla.." (ala Darkseid) or "I am the Universe/ I can control the forces of the universe/ I can control spacetime (therefore I can specifically nullify teleportation and time based attacks), etc."
But it's definitely like you said, OP characters when written just for the sake of being OP can become boring quickly or stupid enough to potentially break your established laws (Superman One Million suddenly able to recreate the earth and life after spending some time in the sun??) thus creating Mary/Gary Sues. So definitely they have to have limitations and "logic" that still works within the established system within the story so they are interesting. Anyways, good video man. The inclusion of an OP character done right has definitely pique my interest in Apple Black. I wanna say Saitama and Gojo Satoru are OP characters done right. So, I am definitely looking forward to more of those.

I find that more interesting than having a character trying to be overpower just to make the scope bigger. Having both sides of characters having strength and weakness makes them far more interesting as well as more understanding to see what or where the characters is coming from.

To answer your question, my wand would be a roller but with a hilt made of dense animal cells wrapped around a thin conducter instead of a wooden hilt. The roller end would be of an outer shell consisting of material that houses large amounts of energy with both ends of it having a vibranium coating and fixed with screws. This roller would be detachable in two places that would give it extended reach and allow for energy to be discharged in case of an overload. Maybe it would be embedded in the roller part too to give allow it a discharged of excess power so its not necessary to extend all the time. It would absorb energy from anywhere like a metal detector and in it would be a system that condenses that energy so that more energy can be housed in that weapon. Also this weapon never shoots the energy, it just sticks to the surface of the weapon so whacking people with it would give them something of a status debuff depending on how the weapon concentrates the energy
Fun fact: There's no "most overpowered" character you can just think of a character on your mind and make him overpowered.
There's more to it than that. There's cosmology, set theory, philosophy at play to prove why they're truly powerful.

yo, Sano's situation seems kinda similar to my story's MC. dont wanna give away too much (both because spoilers if i ever release, but mainly cus it's still very much W.I.P.), but he harbors the power of destruction, and it's also "almost like a separate being or entity, but still sorta part of him".
eeexcept the entity is trying to destroy everything, while he just wants to be a good person and maybe also a magic knight of some sort.

In my assumption of Sano, I think his Op powers come from his teleport abilities...maybe arodise(I know I spelled that wrong lol) can teleport literally anything like air, blood, maybe individual body parts.....this alone can kill Saitama, and madara

He probably can't teleport Saitama's blood because Saitama is a gag character. Shit like that might not even work on him. Before you come at me saying he's not and everything, just check out screwattack death battle video of Saitama vs Popeye. They explain it well.

My character later in the future has time minuplation, instant healing, and omniversal feats. The rest of his abilities are base abilities from his family. He's not a manga character tho he is more of a comic book type character.

@@Sign23 all he does is reverse an attack or reroute it. It's not some big time minuplation thing. And plus it took him about 5 years to master after he reached God state. You have to read the book first.

@@censari544 its not like the Naruto bloodlines. the reason he got his family abilities is because his family is an alien species. you know how all kryptonian's have the same abilities. its more like that. his mother is the queen of a alien species called aradon's and his father is a human thats why he has a human apperence. his uncle voyage ended destroying the entire species for power to rewrite the universe and its up to my main character (deiyuon) to stop voyage and restore balance of the universe. he gets some aradon abilities (since he's only half) but later gets other abilities due to ancient and echanted magic. thats how i want the story to play out. (see its a lot different from the naruto bloodlines.)

I'm making a manga myself and it's called Future Heroes. Which is set in the medieval times.
In the story I'm writing, my main character has the potential to become a top tier contender in the world of op characters but it's an immense struggle getting there.
What if Arodihs is the Infinite Night set to plague Eden? It does say Sano is feared that he may become the thing he hates the most, and that is evil. Maybe reaching here but what if Merlin trapped Arodihs somewhere isolated which is where Sano was in a isolated island, but Merlin knew that he couldn’t just place the arm somewhere where others can find it, because in the manga and Whyt himself did say that the arm was being sought after because of how powerful it is so maybe he blessed Sano with the arm knowing how pure Sano is, and what future he has ahead of him. Maybe Arodihs is the evil, and it only doesn’t wanna kill Sano because it won’t be able to use his body afterwards just a theory.🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
I’m thinking when Sano gets older is when Arodihs would think she is able to take over his body, and use her full power because she knows his body can take it 🤷🏾♂️

In my story of Legends of the artifact
There would be an upcoming antagonist named Hanran (Rebellion translated in Japanese), he is very powerful. But the case is that the world the story is set in is a Huge strain on him
It means if he were to cross another fiction, he could overpower the likes of Golden Experience Requiem, Zeno, Ben 10, and on par with Shaggy.
what are his feats
When it comes to characters being overpowered it kinda defeats formula of the character in a way . if u make a character with powers off the charts u have to balance it with weakness to. Characters should have flaws. overpowered characters like goku and onepunch man are a few examples why the characters isn't interacting overpowered characters need to have flaws/weaknesses .
To make the most op characters just simply make words into super powers ( like , making any impossible possible- niemira niemira- )

Yeah overpowered characters are really hard to make. I have a character who in my eyes is overpowered, but it's hard writing about this character because of the fact that there isn't really anyone that can beat her, so I'm just stuck.

@@voncyrus1525 Well, for one she single handedly destroyed a whole army of 5 million soldiers who were feared not just in the earthly realm that she lived in, but two more realms that also feared her.(these soldiers were also very strong on their own). The reason she's this powerful is because in my story she's sort of like a deity or goddess.

Yeah I have something similar in my manga series red resolution, in short the mc Yuudai naori has a mark on his back which belongs to the ancient blood god shezmu. And when he uses 100% of that power, shezmu can reincarnate into yuudai’s body and when he takes over, let’s just say things get wild lol

Most ppl make an OP character over time as the main character, take goku for instance at first he was moderately powerful but now he a multi verbsal (some may say outerversal but this isn't a scaling/debating/arguing comment) for me I would just pull the uno reverse card
The MC is an utterly overpowered GOD who just doesn't like to throw hands at full pace and anytime there's a problem he either:
1. Isn't around or currently aware
2. The villain has some hax or dues ex machina (I hate this trope and only use it when EXTREMELY needed)
3. He chills around and enjoys seeing the mortals find their own way (this is the most commonest for me to use as I like it)
4. He can't always go GOD MODE, some examples would be
Going full power could also kill the villain but his friends too and cause collateral damage
If he just over powers his way through stuff he loses a certain wager etc.
I don't why but I just love magical arms there so cool

How powerful this character is solely depends on their speed and durability they have the hacks to be incredibly powerful but if they're not fast enough then it's all kind of irrelevant

I doubt Whyt Manga will see this but I'll say it anyway. I'll also make this as non-powerscaler friendly as possible. I feel like I'm taking a joke seriously but when it comes to a character being more powerful it's a lot more complicated than what it looks like on the surface. That's why we have people thinking Saitama could beat the entirety of Dragon Ball but from what we've seen Goku would sneeze Saitama to death (I'm not a Goku fanboy, I swear).
You might think I'll just make my character take a nuke point blank, have him/her destroy a planet or make him/her a billion times the speed of light but honestly that's relatively weak considering the rest of fiction. Like if you want a powerful character in this case you'd need your character to have multiversal, hyperversal or outerversal attack potency and he'd/she'd need to have infinite, inaccessible, immeasurable or irrelevant speed and if you don't understand what any of those terms mean then you're in waaaay over your head if you want to make one of the strongest characters ever.
I don't doubt Whyt Manga's character will be stronger than what he said here but if all a character can do is teleport an island away with no effort and teleport your blood away then that character would have trouble beating a low-balled Naruto, nevermind Goku, Hulk or Superman. Now if this character can manipulate space and (possibly) time then said character might beat Goku but still wouldn't come close to someone like Featherine, Gurren Lagann, most versions of Hulk and Superman or even Sailor Moon.
Finally, saying a character is like Dr. Manhattan can mean anything. A character can have the power to destroy a city and have similar abilities and be like Manhattan but unless you actually know about Manhattan you'd know your character would have to be low outerversal at the very least just to be a fraction of Manhattan's power. There's also a handful or two of anime characters who'd blink Manhattan out of existence, so strongest anime character is a bit of a stretch. As far as this 'trinity' thing goes, I personally believe that The Trinity of The Bible is the only Truly Omnipotent and Perfect Being but there's no such thing as an omnipotent being in fiction and the very best you could get in fiction is high outerversal (you'd also need to show this character's power not just compare him/her to The Holy Trinity) and even then, its a matter of what that character has pulled off in order to be considered stronger than another one of the hundreds of other high outerversal characters out there.

@@Sign23 The best Saitama has done is beat an opponent who can destroy the earth's surface. Saitama did that with a "serious punch". Goku clashed fists with Beerus and nearly destroyed the Macrocosm, which is 3 infinite universes. I like Saitama, more than Goku atleast and I like OPM more than DB but there's no way I can say a Saiyan saga level character can beat Goku. Until Saitama shows more, Goku no diffs.
Your representation on The Trinity is false. It's not 3 Gods; It's one God/Being, 3 Personalities. If you're going to try and poke holes in the logic of an idea then you should probably educate yourself on the basics of that idea first.
I know some of the basics of apologetics so I'm open to a discussion on Christianity and theism. Unfortunately, I'm not too good at debating powerscaling but the fact that you're willing to defend the notion that Saitama is anywhere near half the characters he's shown beating in fan-made crossovers gives me confidence on that too.

Whyt, the most overpowered character of all time would be someone so powerful that them physically being in a universe thats not of their own making would rip the fabric of time and space itself. What you call overpowered is an mcs unnatural affinity to death. Its centralised around the idea of changing ones fate when in reality you cant. Its overpowered in anime because villians are dumber than low hanging fruit. Its not the same
