I loved it! They nailed the 1980's NY vibe. I was rooting for him and Duck...she was the coolest duck you will ever meet. Probably way out of his league, she was destined for greatness.

Moved me to tears. One of the finest movies I've ever seen, but I'm not sure I have the emotional strength to watch it again!!

This was just WOW.....incredibly touching film. Loved it but just wished it had a different ending (don't want to spoil) but I guess the real ending is closer to real life!!! PS. Not sure why dog didn't get into the beach using a boat to approach the shore instead....

WHY'D YOU GUYS CHOOSE THE 3RD TRAILER AS THE TRAILER? It's spoilery as hell!! Jeez, Curzon. @~@ Guess the only thing to make up for that now is...well...if you actually release this film in cinemas all over the country rather than just in your own cinemas.
Was utterly charmed and entranced by this film, easily my favourite film of LFF last year, and it would be an extreme shame if it doesn't get to reach that many people beyond the regular spots in the UK who always get every film release anyway. So uh...bit of a shame on the side of selecting a trailer for this and it stinks your so-called "ambitious awards campaign" came up short where the BAFTAs go for this...but it's not too late, do right by this film and give it a very good, wide release. Thanks.

I feel like I've seen the whole film after watching this trailer

@@Mark-England It's not the whole film, fortunately SOME crucial things in the later part of the film are excempt but I'm still surprised this was the trailer Curzon chose to promote the film given far less spoiler-y trailers were already produced internationally for it.
Just came out of seeing a during-theatrical-release screening and I still highly recommend the film to anyone and everything. Boo hiss boo to Curzon for kinda crapping the bed with marketing it, but I hope the film eventually gets its due regardless.
