Thank you! You hit on so many important points, like the inside colour making it easy to find stuff, or showing how much "give" there is in the laptop compartment. I am looking for a bag exactly like this for multi-purpose use (additional bag for longer business trips, touristy stuff, walking...). And the laptop compartment looks flexible enough to hold my Steamdeck. Just need to decide between the medium and small one... (Shout-out to the birds for providing the perfect background!)
1:25 Fjälräven had this clip on their backpacks already in the seventies. Proven concept and nice to see it again on modern bags. As it is a G1000 material bag you can use the Greenland wax too to make it very very water resistant. And more durable. I use that on an Övik bag and it works. Wearing a Greenland coat too?
Thank you very much for the nice review. I was thinking lf getting the small one in colour dusk but ended up getting the same bag as you (large) in dusk colour. Can't wait for it to arrive.
I just got mine and was hoping you'd explain the second strap you get on the back. But you've removed yours? And don't mention it. I didn't know about the secret pocket so thanks for that. Good video. Nice style and tone. Relaxed.
Yeah, I didn't mention it because I didn't have one on mine (I got it 2nd hand) - sorry! However, I now know it's a waist strap you can use to keep the bag close to you if you're cycling for example, or to avoid that annoying 'shoulder bag swinging round into your face' scenario if you reach down with it on. It's a great feature, well thought out, and having it removable is handy too (except if you buy it and don't realise it's missing!)
It's a great bag, you'll like it. I sold mine (I've got too many shoulder bags!) but look on Vinted; between 50€ - 70€ is the going rate for a clean used one.
What about the strap that goes across the back between the two lower loops? I watched your video just to find out how you utilize that strap. You seem to have removed yours. For those who wonder how to attach the bag to rolling luggage, Iread somewhere that by using the shoulder pad that's on the handle, you can attach it to the luggage handle. Haven't tried it yet. I've had mine for a month now and absolutely love it. I looked everywhere for something like this; LL Bean and Lands End have so cheapened what they offer now that this was a real find. It should last 20, 30 years, I'd think.
Aha, well spotted! I had removed the waist strap and then lost it, and I forgot to mention in in the video - sorry! It's a funny feature, a good idea for those who use this bag on a bike but an unnecessary extra otherwise I think.
Thanks for the review. Any chance you could measure the inner depth at the bottom? Online they list exterior dimensions as Height: 28 cm Width: 39 cm Depth: 17 cm but they don't give interior dimensions.
Ooh, that's a tough one! The Foldsack is a lovely simple shoulder bag, and quite small, so it's a minimalistic thing, and more suited to the wilds. The Greenland is much bigger, with many more compartments, which makes it more complicated (if a bag can be complicated!) but also more useful, and is equally at home in the wilds and in town. Personally, the Foldsack is my most used shoulder bag - I love the simplicity.

For what it's worth: I can fit my Lenovo Legion Pro 16 in this bag. Dimensions are: 26,44 x 35,6 x 2,68 cm
Thanks for the video 😁 I’m thinking of getting the small one 😊
Really good review mate. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Backdrop was lovely too.
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for your comment :-)
I got mine yesterday! Thank you so much again for the amazing review! Everything you said was spot on !
Awesome - glad it was helpful and that you like your new bag!

Wearing a Greenland coat too?
Yup, Greenland jacket too!
Great review! Makes me want to grab one for myself! Thank you! So helpful!
I just ordered this from Fjallraven can’t wait to get it! Great review!
Brilliant review. Thank you ❤

I have one of these. Great bag. I’m not a fan of the closure though. Always a bit of a faff to undo. Nice bag though.
Switch the locking system with a fidlock.

I just looked it up - hadn't heard of these. Could be good 🤔
Watches, knives and edc? You got me... Liked and subscribed.
Very nice - like a traditional cycle - messenger bag only made with waxed cotton instead of Cordura.
What jacket are you wearing?
I bought the small Greenland shoulder bag after your review. Can’t wait to get it! Cheers 👍🏻
It's the Greenland Jacket!
It's on my list to review, haven't got to it yet :-/ Spoiler alert: it's awesome.
@@WatchesKnivesEDC it looks good and suits the bag - contrasts while still matching 👍🏻
Thank you for the review! 😊 Thinking of getting one of these.

Nice review, is it large or medium?
This is the large one.

Ah sorry, I haven't got it any more 🙄
such a great channel ❤
Hey how does this compare to your fjallraven foldsack no 3? Which do you prefer? Thanks

Is the grab handle wide enough to slip over a rolling luggage handle? For easily carrying in the airport?
Hmm, I think probably not.
What color is your Greenland bag. Thanks
They call it 'Deep Forest' - a dark green.
The pronunciation is more like Fyell Rairven and Trangia has a hard G 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
nice and hinest review buddy. one sub from me
What sizes do I buy?
Mine is the medium.
1661kr på Amazon se, alldeles för mycket pengar 😢
Vinted ;-)
