Here is the second part of my video series on busking in Burbank. My previous video was about how to power 9V and 12V batteries in the street. This video focuses on what a typical night is like on Palm Ave. The summer months attract new travelers to the downtown area. I met some cool performers including

If you want to get a spot, it's recommended that you get there early. There is no permit required to busk in Burbank at the moment, but that could change if there are too many performers or noise complaints. It's best to move after a couple hours. Palm Ave is a great little spot for a string player such as a violinist, jazz guitarist, or singer/songwriter.
I hope this video gives a little insight on what it's like to busk at night in the Burbank area. :-)

The amount of views and comments I. This video is absolutely incredible! Thanks everyone for your support over the years. I’ve been busking less these days and gigging more in hotels. I so admire buskers. I come from a family of very talented musicians, I'm just the one with out it! But I do busk as well accept I do it for the Lord so I do it here and there alone a lot. Living in a town with less than 3000 people in Texas.
You definitely have a God given talent. Hope you come to Texas someday if so let us know.

Hi Katie, great video. I wish you so much success! I just started busking and it's been fun so far. I'd like to ask you if you know any buskers who sing but use backing tracks instead of playing guitar. I also play djembe which is visually interesting. But like I said, I use backing tracks with obscure arrangements of covers. Does this mean I'm a fake busker?!

Very nicely done video. Very talented. Don't mean be to predatory but having been playing street music for a living for many years curious about what you meant by a good night? Is there money to be made where you were busking? I know we are all supposed to be groovy (for lack of a better term) but when it comes to having food to eat and a place to live that puts money high on the list of busking priorities.

Ignacio D I think you will have to go for your selfZ Friday’s and weekend dates are packed. It can be very annoying. When I first started playing out there it was great. No one would set up. Now everyone is playing ok top of each other and the DJ who’s name I will not mention kicks everyone out of that main area. It’s probably my fault making this video 😂 now everyone is setting up here.

You have a great voice, but I did not feel the emotion as deeply as I should have. Perhaps watch Gaga and 4 non blonds to find the punch that will call the audience over. Aww that’s a shame! Lots of people really love my voice and emotion I put into it. Not sure if you know this but I’ve sung at 300 seat concert halls including the Orpheum theater and at international festivals with over 10,000 people. The audiences at these events really loved me. I’m not Lady Gaga or 4 Non blonds nor do I need to win an audience over. I need to be me.
Just a little pointer from a seasoned musician to another: it’s really not cool to give other artists unsolicited advice, especially females. Also check your spelling. The correct way to spell “you’re” is with an e. “Your” is possessive. And no, I will not be seeing you in Burbank.
