    Beautiful, timeless design. Imagine as well how harmonized the engineers and designers were back then and how they fused beautiful design on paper to the engineers who made concept a reality in the manufacturing department. Casting the engines and engine parts, sculpting the beautiful sheet metal to clothe the internals. A lot of things had to happen for this to come together in such a cohesive package. And the 7 minute commercial which I'm sure was distilled down to TV ad friendly length also exudes class and elegance from the wonderful jazz music to the handsome actor and beautiful female actress. Story is also very classy. Reminds me of John Tesh and his beautiful wife, Connie Sellecca.

    My dad had a black on black ‘93 J30t. He got it in ‘95 it had been a program car. I started high school in August 2005 and I got to drive this car to school. So many memories were made in this car

    I just saw one of these for the first time in my adult car-informed life. It was beige with a Cali plate (many states away). I knew from the taillights that I wasn’t sure what car it was. Great video, makes me want an Infiniti right now! Nobody does classy ads anymore.

    I looked at this in 1994 when I was 34 and had enough money to buy a nice new car. I really liked this and the Mazda 929 was a killer luxury sedan that got over-looked. I ended up with a 1995 BMW 540i. I always had a soft spot for this infiniti

    I had two of them, a Siver Gray T and a White Tan T, timeless looks and fun to drive! This was Infinity at its peak when it was different by design! Loved every minute of them and would buy another if they returned model to line up, updated of course but just imagine! The classic looks a little larger and a 350-400 engine, it would bring life back to the brand!

    My first car was a '93 U13 Bluebird... (that's Australian for "Altima")... I only just found out a couple weeks ago that the J30 was even a thing!!! (We didn't get them down here 😭😭) And i have to say, to see an Infiniti based on the U13 with a 300ZX engine and RWD... and knowing i'll never get to own one... i feel like a part of me that i never knew existed has died. I loved my Bluebird soooo much. I drive a Q70 currently, which i love also... but i reckon if i was given the chance to trade it for a brand new J30... i'd propably trade.

    I'm sorry but back then this was one of my least favorite. I thought it was ugly it looked like it's cousin the Altima with that bubble behind..lol But today 20+ years later I'd buy one and cruise around in it every once in a while

    • @mraiwa1000

      Believe it or not, I actually think this car is really ugly. But that's what I like about it! (if that makes any sense)
      On the contrary, the interior is rather nicely designed however

      I have one. I think it looks a lot like an Altima... but also, a Jaguar mixed with a Buick Century
      I think it looks beautiful. One of my friends thinks it is ugly.

      @texan903 2 года назад +1

      @@82_KID yes, these cars were uniquely styled, they stood out in my mind when they first hit the roads. I think they do share a lot of styling elements with the initial Altima but the Century was far too frumpy looking.
