He has been very important to MMA ( which in turn brought support to martial arts in general) and the fact that he is a regular practitioner as well made it an easy choice to stick him on there. Dan says he won 54 million, off one guy, and then 10 million in like a month or two. You CANNOT win that kind of money without first having a massive bankroll. And that's assuming that he actually did win that kind of money, which I don't believe anyway.
My point is that his story makes zero sense.
