They got these detents dialed in pretty damn good . It’s a clean , sleek well built looking knife for $51 . I was going to get an Ortis but figured $10 more then I saw a two sun but will have to come back to it because I’m getting this for sure after watching this review just in the fence of black blade or this blade ?
I wasn't sure about the carbon fiber over the normal handle, but your review made it clear. The CF is my preference looks wise. Thanks for helping me make a decision!
Very good review of the Backlash. The action has to be good as it is basically We's action being it is their budget line. In the beginning everyone was complaining about their colored liners. It was never an issue for me. Cut paper without the wife you are going to hear about that for awhile lol. Enjoyed the review. Very well done and @Geared_Toward_Gear is an awesome guy. I have had over 500 different knives in the last couple years, and the backlash is hands-down the smoothest opening folder of all of them. That's really saying something considering it's still a budget knife
We could not believe how smooth it was either!! We haven’t delved super deep into Civivi. We only borrowed one other from someone and now we’re giving this one away. But it totally has me wanting to get our own one day for sure!!!
Man hes so awsome, he helps out all the little guys, and thats on a whole other level, so many guys out there wont even deal with someone until they reach like almost a thousand subs, even though they were only at a few hundred not that long ago, they think there some type of supastar or something, geared toward gear is humble and a great dude that does it because hes cool and not for people to see. And thats whats up!

I have an original Backlash in tan g10, but I'm going to upgrade to the new one without the blue liners..the Backlash is I think my favorite Civivi, and that's saying a lot, because they're all good. Such a good slicer. It must blow to get a great knife like this one, only to have to give it away, lol. Great reviews..you two are doing a great job.
Yeah when we first opened it I was really impressed by how sleek it looked. I’m used to the bright color and the all black with the gentle shine off the carbon fiber looks so high end!! It feels high end too I loveeeee it! -Kara
This in brass is MY knife, if you know what I mean. It became my favourite from the first time I saw it and it still is. Sounds like they’re discontinuing this
@@NeevesKnives No worries. It seems the We knives are all ceramic and the Civivi's are stainless steel. I really don't think it makes a difference though.
@@ericliebert5260 not really but ceramic bearings are smoother because they are self lubricating and stainless can rust if they go dry and get moisture or acids on them
Sean from geared toward gear is a top bloke and that civivi is an excellent knife. I have just got the civivi anthropos and I frikkin love the thing. What an awesome GAW. Great review guys, just one little suggestion. When Kara holds the specs up on her phone it's hard for people like me with poor eyesight to read it. Can you possibly use a tablet or something which has bigger writing on? Keep up the great reviews 🤜💥🤛

I REALLLY WANT AN AQUILA!!! I’ve put one in my shopping cart like 80,000,000 times and I always took it out because I couldn’t spend more than like $50 and it pushed the envelope. Then other times when I had a better budget I wanted to get something a little higher end. But I really want to get one!
I just bought one of these mmfs Ive been trying to acquire one of the good civivis elementum, incite copper foil, they r impossible to acquire the backlash may very well be the best looking and got lucky and finally got cf one its in the mail , I even talked to civivi personally and have a gentleman try to get those to no avail just heard back email yesterday he said he may have a guy hell get back to me also was curious about acquiring he said i have to buy all the knives they cant sell individual scales so what im trying to do at this point is acquire.a damascus backlash and switch the scales I think the damascus.w the cf scales on it custom would possibly be hot if so then i could put the black on satin and have two or if not the satin cf by itself is great
I think those are all good ideas the backlash is a great knife and looks good in any form id like to see some scale swap, im surprised you cant find any of the Elementums but when you do your going to love it, we only habe the g10 version but id like to get a copper and a micarta version
Wow that knife if you rewatch your video almost disappeared when filmed straight on towards the cutting edge. Easier access to the lock would be better. Great video my friends!!❤❤ Take it apart. From watching Nick Shabazz the knife is usually full of heavy grease or dirt from the factory. Nano oil might work
Backlash is a very nice knife. I just wish Civivi would quit putting the stupid colored liners in their knives. They're made by WE. I'd like to see the same clean looks as WE but the gold and blue liners just make them look a bit mall ninja. Great knives though

No, that is the ganzo f750-1cf. My apologies if we didn’t say, we need to be better about that!! But I have never seen an fh51 so I can’t say for sure if they’re versions of each other.

Lol something to find. Cool Vid guys, I would like larger stop pins on Alot of knives. Civivi makes good knives in my opinion. Good value to. Hold it just under the pivot and shake it in a u shape, I can get most knives to come out that way. Frame lock are harder obviously.
I can pretty much shake any knife come out, but I just wanted to show that its good to go, that said if its a middle finger or thumb flicker I want to be able to shake it out, without a ton of effort. We love your comments man, they are awsome! Marc 😃

Very nice review. I love my Baklash. I'm pretty sure the bearings are stainless steel though, rather than ceramic. Makes no real difference though.
