COMMUNITY PLUNGED INTO MOURNING AFTER UNITY YOUTHS DROWN

Unity is the state of being united or joined as a whole but it is also a village in the East Coast Demerara District in Guyana, plunged into distress on Sunday after news broke that two youngsters, well-mannered and loved within the community, disappeared during a swimming trip. While searches continued overnight, it widened on Monday even as the families of Navin Seenauth, age 20, and Daniel Boodram, age 17, were both still clinging to the hope that by a miracle, the friends will be found alive. Sorry! I almost drowned at di seawalls in georgetown many years ago. I am now in my 50's. I thank God everyday. I hope these boys are found. So sorry for the parents, family and friends..
