More junk in the trunk! My only silver stacking goal for 2022 is to fill a German beer stein with constitutional silver. Congratulations on your gold purchase! The 1/10 ounce Maple Leaf is a great coin to kick off the gold stack with👍
Everywhere I've been reading says wood is definitely one of the things that will corrode silver coins pretty much everything I wanted to store my junk silver in "wood treasure chest" "ammo box" "velvet bag" any of those supposedly is not good so I'm curios if anyone is aware of this or if it truly doesn't matter because I see everyone using things that are supposedly really bad for silver coins any clarification on this would be appreciated.
I have not made any goals for this year permanent yet... still thinking... Nice gold maple and $8 in halves! That chest will be fun to watch get filled!
That's how Ohio was...depending on how some junk was listed on ebay it could be tax if or not. Luckily now, all bullion is tax free..I hope all other states get their act together on that as well.
Can you imagine that entire trunk full of war nickels or dimes. That would be an epic sight to behold. My stacking goals are rather modest. I plan on skipping out on all my normal indulgences and putting that money towards silver. I hope to see that trunk half full by the end of the year
Awesome start to junk in trunk, I stack constitutional silver it’s my favorite for the cost and I just like the designs, I’m also a collector stacker so I also buy numismatic coins. Thanks for sharing new to the channel
I have some stacking and collecting goals. Stacking I want to fill a tube with generics, fill my little treasure chest full of junk silver, fill a tube for qaurters, dimes, halves, morgans (if I find then for a deal) collecting I want to get a 2022 coin from almost every major government mint. And I also want to get 1/4 of gold. Congrats on your first 10th ounce! I'm jealous.
Silver Ref... gonna be a long journey getting that thing filled. Excited to watch the progress over time. My little treasure chest has $78 face value in it... so that is gonna be a couple thousand dollars I think it will take... but just imagine how it's gonna look when it is almost full.
As long as we keep on stacking, regardless whether it is constitutional or generic, I guess that is what is important. Congratulations on your gold pick up. Totally agree with your plan, Ref.
Congrats on the first piece of gold. Man that trunk is gonna be heavy when it’s full. Nice video. No stacking goals for me this year, just hoping to finish my Morgan Dollar collection so I can get back to regular stacking. But I try not to pass up deals at my LCS when he has them. 😁👍
90% is one of my favorite silvers to stack Reason I buy it 1. They don’t make it anymore 2. Not many fakes 3. Very easy to sell if needed 4. Fractional silver for a SHTF situation 5. Pretty cheap 6. They are just beautiful and fun
Now, as far as my goals for this year... I have pretty specific ones... and they are kind of lofty considering everything else I am trying to do this year. But, my goal is to get a total of 120 more ounces this year. But, broken down to specifics... 20ozt in silver eagles, 30ozt in generic rounds and bars(1, 2, and 5oz ea.), 3 10ozt bars, and 40ozt in constitutional silver($56 fv). I also want to get to 1 oz of gold as well.
@@thesilverreferee4784 I found a cool treasure chest and did a video for it. It's an older cedar wood chest with a Sailing ship wood-burned on the top.
@@thesilverreferee4784 I can second the comment not sure how I never saw your videos and channel before now as well. I like the chest you have, and what you're putting into it.
Idk... what you added seemed to make a dent. How much do you think it'll take at face value to fill it up? Newly subbed. Love the trunk videos my friend. 🧡🇺🇲🤠
I filled a treasure chest with gold and silver that was nowhere as large as your chest and the value was about $20,000...so be prepared for maybe $100,000 plus to fill this...oh and worry about the chest holding up, the shear weight and need to spread out can force the boxes apart at the seams if not collapse the base...one reason the lock boxes that coaches carried were so tough and often metal.
@@thesilverreferee4784 you know the grind then. I coach high school, I ref for elementary cyo leagues. I played in college so the guys who used to ref my games throw me ones they don't want. And trust me, if it weren't for my stacking goals, these 3rd grade girls would have to ref themselves cause it's rough.
Thanks for the video..........
Good luck on your goal. That is going to be a big beautiful box when you are done.

Congrats on that beautiful maple 👍🏻🇺🇸
Loving the 1/10 gold maple. You’re making progress brotha. Every silver coin helps. Keep on stacking!!!!
Pretty cool!
I think junk silver is a no brainer to stack. You will be very happy you started this journey one day.
Also good luck on your trunk. That's gonna be sweet once it's filled!!

In Washington State we don't pay tax on U.S, coins and currency.

@@thesilverreferee4784 yes, i wish Tennessee would put an end to that tax! ✌🇺🇸

The trunk is a hefty goal and I wish you luck. I’m concentrating on gold😎
Man that's a big trunk! I'm guessing $10,000 in face value to fill it. Very cool goal! Can't go wrong with gold, nice pick up.

Another one doing the gold challenge. That trunk is definitely going to take a while. Keep stacking
Your treasure chest is cool. If you get it full, it probably isn't going to support and hold the weight if you pick it up.

Hello from Perth Australia , my 2022 goal is to get at least 1kg of silver for the year. I just subbed.

Hey Ref, just curious, do you actually ref any sports?
I was just curious cause recently I have been reffing basketball games to help with my stacking goals.
