I have the 2021 Rogue SL. Very happy, impressed with the comfortable ride, mpg, and overall feel. I think the new gen Rogue has one of, if not the no 1, best interior. It feels luxurious in the segment. Doesn't feel cheap despite the price tag.
For a family SUV like this, we are not concerned about handling. It's got enough power and speed for highway, cushioned ride for long trip and bumpy roads, and great mpg overall. Certainly we value comfort for the passengers and mpg more than performance/sport.
Not to mention the abundant features that seem standard on Rogue but are not easily available on other SUVs. Pano roof, memory seats, heated seats and steering, back seat shade... AND 360 view camera which can be manually activated even when in Drive mode but low speed for parking.
But still missing cooling seats and hud lol
@@cormaro13 Yeah cooling seat would be perfect.
@@cormaro13 It does have a HUD... they showed it.
Lies again? Interracial Couple USD SGD
Recently drove one as a rental and was impressed
Same. Very impressed.
With so many available features I’m surprised Nissan is still not offering ventilated seats.
Huh? Don't let them hype that up. Cars only 60k and up used to have ventilated seats
@@CraigNelson-gw6jwmy hyundai sonota for 23k has the seats
@kais295 who even buys sonatas anymore lol I've seen none on the road today.
@@CraigNelson-gw6jwDon’t let who hype what up?

Amazing review bro.
How enjoyable watching like this car review videos that have been recorded seperatly by a real camera man, not by the reviewers themselves with camera in hand or in a fixed tripod that 99% of youtubers doing so.
Fantastic video as always guys!😸
Living for the intro
Terrific video of the newly redesigned Nissan Rogue!!!
Still loving our 22’ SV 26k miles later
Loving my 23
Same here 22 SV priviledge
Loving my 2021. It's SV model.
Wow.. love that paint color. ..it looks sharp.
Great review, thanks.
Thanks for watching!
It's really a great updated I impressed by it 👌
Nice job guys!
Thanks!
Fantastic review guys , well done -love the rogue for the 2nd time-was not a fan , 2 models back, but from 2020, Nissan has up its game
Thank you!
The updates are great, but I'm really curious to see what the S and SV trims will look like, since a lot of these changes are apparently unique to the Platinum.
Black grill and plastic cladding instead of painted one.
New wheels or no? I know sadly the 8" infotainment stays the same on the S and SV. @@abhirammmm
I think it's a shame that they are doing away with the old 5 spoke, directional SL wheels. They are sportier than these new 19s. (SL is the top trim in Canada.) It is also a shame that this model and the last didn't bring back the two-level cargo area from my 2018 model. When we lift the floor and slot it in at the top of the wheel wells, it effectively doubles our cargo capacity, since we can't always stack items on top of each other.
I really like the design of the new Rogue, a luxurious interior, but that 1.5 turbo engine would have to wait to see how reliable it is. I hope Nissan has already fixed the endless problems with its gearbox. Drew you look great.
I’m from the UK reading the comments it’s a shame Nissan have not brought the epower system to the United States it’s an awesome car to drive.
Looking good 👍 👌 😎
I can’t wait to get a Nissan rogue 😍😍😍😍😍
The 24 inside went back to looking like the 21. I had the 21 and now Platinum 23 same color as that one on the outside but I have black inside. I don't care for that inside color. Why would you go back to the 21 inside? Not much difference at all from the 23. I'll keep my 23 Platinum. Wanna say I love my Rogue. It's very safe. I had a bad accident and wasn't wearing a seat belt. I fell asleep behind the wheel and boy did I crash causing over $16,000 I'm damages. B walked away w a busted lip thanks to the safety features of the Rogue. Love the Rogues
Now refresh the Pathfinder with this interior and aesthetic and I'll camp out at a dealership.
To a point I understand why some people don’t like that they don’t have ventilation seats but for me I don’t care as long they have heated seats because I would use that more then air seats.
A great option for many!
I saw news about the new vc engine getting lawsuits , while people were demanding for more power ,nissan threw a deaf ear and gave the 3 cylinder turbo, idk how reliable and long it might run. Considering nissan's issues with automatic gearboxes already , this engine is like salt on the wound, I really would love to see nissan standing in the auto market .
Beautiful Car
I purchased a 2021 Rogue Platinum FWD brand new. Here are my thoughts after two years of ownership. Positives: beautiful exterior design (subjective), gorgeous leather interior, Nissan's ProPilot Assist is awesome, comfy zero gravity seats, 3-zone climate control, rear window sunshades, great mpg (I avg 37mpg on the hwy), silky smooth drivetrain and ride...*on good roads*. Negatives: lacking some obvious things that even my 2012 Prius had such as...home link rear-view mirror, one-touch up/down an windows (only on the driver's window on the Rogue). Other negatives: missing ventilated seats at this trim level, option to turn off engine at red lights (start/stop system), loud road noise and clunky ride on rough roads/potholes (unsettling), Bose sound system is meh. Overall, there are things I love and things I dislike about the new Rogue. Before buying one I would recommend taking a test drive on a rough road with potholes...if that might be a common occurrence on your daily commute. Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars...not bad at all!!
Hope the pathfinder will soon get that screen.
I sat in the new Rouge at the Philly Auto show. Its flat out premium borderline luxury. Wayyyyyyyyy nicer than Toyota
I had the same experience a few years ago. I knew it was nice from pics, but in person it was really a wow moment. It was up there with the CX5 and not too far off the new NX, which is a let down IMO interior wise.
Look up Crown Signia, its coming in the summer and very comparable.
Looks nicer inside but is a total pos compared to the RAV4 in reliability and durability
@@fallguy4209 How can you possibly know that when it won't even be out until Summer?
Also drove in new nissan. Cvt is heavily upgraded. 200 horse and 225 torque is really good
It's still CVT and that sucks.
@@jauxed Its not 2009 anymore. Technology does improve.
I understand technology, but CVT is the same as 2009 :(
@@jauxed Doesn't matter if they upgraded it. I had a 2014 Nissan. When I drove in the new Nissan it felt nothing at all like the old cvt. Felt much smoother than any Honda I ride in.
I dunno bro, every car that I rented with CVT are just not responsive. Sure it saves gas mileage a little but nothing feels better than a regular transmission, specially when you're over taking someone or need to. I guess to each own.
Loved it until I drove it out on the highway and really got on it. The transmission isn't exactly smooth. And I'm used to driving a CVT too. Great for around town, and the interior is very comfortable. If I was leasing and not planning on long highway hauls, I might consider it.
Did they fix their transmission issues yet?
3 cylinder +CVT but Great interior
No thank you!
Are the mirrors power folding ?
Real Nice new Rogue, but a few shortfalls that would have put it over the top. IMHO, Nisan should have included a power steering wheel adjustment that would work in concert with a Auto Entry / Exit Memory feature, Ventilated Seats, and an option to get the Infiniti 2.0 VC-Turbo engine. But the Refresh design is very appealing. Or perhaps like Honda / Toyota's gas/electric Hybrid. As I approach the end of my 22 Acura MDX lease in August, looking to "trade Down" a bit, the New Rogue will probably be on my list to review more closely. I truly like my MDX (I use the word LOVE for People), however, I really don't need a 3 Row SUV that consumes gas. FTR, the EPA rated the MDX 19/26 City / Highway..With 30 months of driving, 17K miles on the clock, 20% less in the City/Suburban driving on average, and 10% less on the Highway (but I do usually hit 75-80 MPH on the Highways).
It's sooooo busy looking, a bit hard to believe that the gorgeous Z comes from the same manufacturer this!
In my market, the Nissan Rogue is around $4500 less expensive than a similarly equipped Honda CR-V or Toyotal RAV-4. The Toyota and Honda are somewhat more reliable but projected savings on annual repair cost (whether first year only or over 10 years) fails to justify the higher cost. The Rogue is definitely the best bargain in this class.
Does anyone know where that building is.
I needed a replacement for my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder LE this year. In June I evaluated the 2023 Nissan Rogue, the 2023 Toyota Rav4, and the 2023 Subaru Forester Limited. I went with the 2023 Subaru Forester limited. The Forester offered full time all wheel drive, a 4 cylinder boxer engine, Apple Carplay, and many of the same features that the Nissan Rogue offers. For me, the 2023 Forester Limited made the most sense. I would ask how long will the Nissan 3 cylinder turbo engine last? And how much is it going to cost when it needs to be repaired or to be replaced? To me the that turbo engine is too new and too unproven. That Nissan 3 cylinder turbo engine just sounded too risky to me, that is unless you plan to own the car for 3 years or less.
1.3 engine not gonna last,I’m a mechanic, all these engines are garbage.
@@Tundra71 cap
I’m not even a mechanic and I can tell 3 cyl turbo engines are trash
What about the crv 1.5 turbo engine ..thoughts ?
Hi guys!! DO you know the Nissan Rogue's release date??? Feb or MAR?
I am a returning Balikbayan. Are seniors exempt from paying Value Added Tax in the purchase of a brand new car?
Spare tire?
I'm seriously considering trading in my '18 for a '24
Would be up there if it had a normal transmission
I like Rogue.
You know the Nissan Rogue is a good looking SUV if you know what I mean by that I would get it but I'm also might get the Honda CRV I don't know about the Toyota RAV4 that's a little bit too small for me might get the monster to buy kind of depends I heard the monsters cx50 is the most smallest offering but this Nissan Rogue right here is pretty good-looking specially with his two-tone roof in that color OMG that is one of the most good-looking colors I already seen on a Nissan
I have no idea what this comment means. Can you translate it into English? 😂
The big problem its a small block 3 cylinder turbo with a CVT...this SUV look great, interior very good, motor with CVT combination no good.
what's resale values on this nissan????
Nissan has come along nicely with their exterior and interior designs. However, they desperately need more sound insulation and more attention to fit and finish.
Seems that Europe market already has everything of these interior facilities on their actual Xtrail. Regarding the exterior, for me the facelift modifications are not worse, not better, just modifications (visually speaking). From practicality point of view is worst, a lot of piano black on the bumpers and whell arches...cmon guys, the car looks better only in the first 30 seconds after leaving the dealer's parking. The previous version just was praised because of limited piano black on the interior. Regarding the car in this video, I assume that the interior anthracite parts look grey because of the light. But I like this appearance, everything grey with beige seats could be very interesting.
Nissan should have updated the rear turn signals with LED's?
I'm wondering with Google interface is there no Apple car play?
Apple CarPlay still works with any of the Android-based infortainment systems on the market right now
What mpg was the previous year?
22 23 and 24 has the same mpg. As high as 30/37 with base wheels and fwd to as low as 28/34 or 35 with platinum big wheels and awd. K forget without looking atm
My 2023 Murano doesn’t even have rain sensing wipers….Nissan is a little out of touch with features these days. Funny how they are already doing another refresh on the Rogue again this year yet the Murano has looked exactly the same for over a decade….
The Murano is probably going away. I assume the sales of that model are abysmal and it’s totally not needed in the Nissan lineup.
The Murano is scheduled for the refresh/redesign in 2025. If you google 2025 Murano you’ll see the spy shots.
Well this is their number one selling model, so they have to invest in it. But a new Murano is on the way. There have been spy shots of it.
@@sachemrock the all new 2024 Murano is coming out in the spring so I guess Murano lives on. Spy shots available on the new model.
Rent one, ride is decent but infotainment is outdated. Trouble with getting CarPlay to work, turning radius could be better for SUV this size.
Incoming “bUt iT hAs a cVt” comments . .
Still the crappy jatco Mexican Cvt, no ventilated seats, no rear led lights, a 3 cylinder? 😂
Not the same transmission, new for 22+ models. It does have rear LED lights. 3-cylinder turbos are becoming more popular just as four-cylinder turbos replaced V6s and V8s. Both more powerful and higher fuel efficiency than its 4-cylinder naturally aspirated competitors. Important thing is 225ftlbs from 2K rpm and up so it sounds and feels like a V6, and thanks to variable compression ratio tech that Nissan spent a fortune on gets 37mpg, and over 200hp on 87 octane, unheard of on a 1.5L engine just years ago. @@yappering
@@yapperingCan you be any more ignorant please?
Oh Nissan, good looking, super comfortable seats, smooth ride, good engine and unfortunately the but is the horrible transition and the bad reputation. Not sure why this manufacturer refuses to correct this and just fix it???
Seats in platinum trim are not good. I would pick SL trim or CRV which I’m more and more being convinced to over a time.
The rogue it is a Xtrail?
Why hasn't Nissan made a hybrid SUV yet? I know Honda, Toyota and Hyundai have them. I would assume Nissan would follow with them but curious on why they haven't decided to make those yet.
The hybrid is already available from 2 years. Check e-power version.
great job Bro......the engine is not that powerful , unfortunately !
A new follower of your channel from middle east ....
bye
Seen a few on the dealer lot today but not impressed w the 3 cylinder turbo
looks like nissan out did toyota and honda. if only the refreshed rouge had ventilated seats and hybridization on top of the turbo I3
How about making cars exiting again, not gutless cvt
😭I wanna it😭
It would be better if they get rid of the CVT and and more powerful engine, v6 engine for example.
Does it finally have LED interior lighting?
I doubt it. It looked to have the same white plastic light covers as my 23 Pathfinder, which has dim incandescent interior lights. Cheapens the interior, for sure.
@@stewartc1981 thanks. Pity.
Had a 2021 Nissan rogue and lease is about to be up. Beautiful car and great ride but the battery died 3 times and my back windshield literally exploded out of nowhere - a known issue and they didn’t even replace it.
I hate to admit it but it’s a very sharp vehicle. Best looking version to date. Now just get rid of the CVT!
Scree that engine- going out of business just like infiniti
Am I the only one who doesn't like the new Steering wheel design for the Nissan vehicles
This is a nice ass suv
Nissan Rogue should have a hybrid
Nissan with the incandescent bulbs on top trims in 2024...
That’s alright… this is the best looking car in its segment
Why the screen so big?
It looks great, but I don’t like the CVT 😂
CVT is actually good, you should try it out. I was not a fan of their horrible (and unreliable) Jatcos in the past, but the newest generation CVTX not only feels good (you wouldn't really know it was a CVT) but is built super beefy and Consumer Reports has it listed as highest reliability rating which is saying something for Nissan.
@@BoopSnoot ok
Ok, what about the many other manufacturers using CVT’s? Or you don’t like Nissan in general?
@@rosendorendonjr I like no CVT
@@darriontunstall3708jackrabbit starts is a thing of the past..like the 70's...not today these aren't race cars...and most have transitioned to FWD over rear wheel drive screechers off the line. Great styling but engine is short on power.
A 3cyl midsized SUV with a CVT transmission....what could go wrong
Stick to small engines forget HP, gas will be a problem!
Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware...... I believe there is a class action lawsuit underway due to
the 3 cylinder engine coming unglued at very low mileage.......
I bought the 23 SL premium two things I hate on this that I regret purchasing is the engine noise is extremely loud. Second for a fat guy the seat is extremely tight and uncomfortable. Besides that k enjoy the 201 horse power compare to the Forester is slow
Should’ve just went Mazda lol
But the Transmission.is a c.v.t.it no good.from the Is factory.😢😢😢😢😢
3 cylinder 😮 seems under powered !!
Taillights could be designed better.

My question. Why spend so much time accentuating the vehicles' badging? Who cares? Does a gray with white badge improve performance, reliability or owner comfort? It ( they ) do nothing however so many reviewers spend excessive time pointing out something largely irrelevant. And, gloss black is hardly a luxury trim. It is just as easy and cheap to produce gloss plastic as it is to produce textured. Point out the important and spend less effort pointing out "Fluff".
It's a refresh and most people appreciate hearing about all the changes, even if they're small ones 🤷♂️
CVT transmission no thanks
Why not?
The screen is small
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Has that annoying idol stop/start..won't purchase any vehicle with that feature..can only temporarily turn it off.
Beautiful design and interior. If only they stopped with the garbage powertrain. Now that the government is involved with this motor because it’s so bad they are looking into forcing them to admit it’s junk and fix the design flaw. Not to mention they still use the older junk cvt in this one. The murano has a great cvt in it but they don’t want to use the one that works properly. And for those saying the motor can be fixed. It’s like saying direct injection can be fixed. It can be removed completely. That’s how you fix the flawed design. Again the murano is great powertrain but they won’t update the car itself. No auto start stop BS. No flawed injection system. No junk cvt. They just work. It’s a tried and true system that I would bet money they change it to junk instead of leaving it alone and updating the design. Nissan lost its customer base because what it was catering too gets denied on loans now instantly. So they need to cater to those who want something that lasts. Not something that lasts long enough to get repossessed
I just bought a new crv hybrid.
The Murano uses the same drivetrain as my old 2015 Pathfinder, and the CVT was garbage. Mine lasted just over a year.
@@stewartc1981v6 cvt was changed after that.
Some changes good some not so I like to do some of my own work just to change oil you first must remove the 18 plastic clips and 2 bolts to remove splash guard covering oil pan and filter seems like to much work please Nissan find another way 👀👎
Mpg!!
Comparing a Nissan with a Honda crv is like comparing a kitten to a lion, the Honda crv is the lion of reliability, last u forever.
Are they still adding that market adjustment amounting to 2,500 just because there is a "shortage" of cars? 😂😂😂 The last time I went to a nissan dealership they were doing that, and their cars isnt really that great 😂
The CVT is the deal breaker for me otherwise it would be perfect.
cannot handle RAV 4 2010s Granpa interior...
No where near as reliable or fuel efficient as a RAV4
Nice style and interiors but still an unreliable junk. Cvt transmission, electronics and motor problems. Plus the depreciation is awful, stick with Honda, Toyota, Mazda if you value your money.

3 cylinder no thanks. Just no. Worse then Honda''s 1.5 oil dilution mess.
Same problematic motor and tranny used in 2023 and older Rogue's ?
