The fact she isn't afraid of him faceless or with a new and unfamiliar one is GOLD.... she Loves him and knows it's him by his loving voice and bond they share! Yes i need to STOP complaining about my life.... blessings to this entire family & to the other family who lost their loved one!!!

So incredible! This man is so brave and obviously loves his baby girl. The fact that he is focusing on all the good and positivity that came from his experience speaks volumes! God bless him and his family as well as the donor’s family! God can use people in so many different ways and when people allow Him to use them the possibilities are endless!
Heartless people would judge this man and call him a freak, why? Because he had the strength to continue on after a life threatening injury, and even after that life threatening injury and being blinded for the rest of his life, he continued to be the most lovable father you could ever imagine. God bless this man and his family ❤️

stuff like this brings my faith back in humanity, when I first saw this man before his surgery, I won't lie, it scared me but he is an incredibly brave man to be the 1st person to have a successful face transplant and he has all my respect, hopefully with our technology getting better and better we can hopefully bring this man's sight back too so he can see his daughter once again

To say that "everything happens for a reason" is an extra-ordinary claim with no evidence behind it. Whereas the effects of confirmation bias have been studied and proven. Thus it's most rational to believe the latter is the cause of Valerie's thoughts.

I don't know what is worse... Can't see the damage fire did or cant see his new face. It's so so sad he lost his vision. I hope someday science be good enough to make him see!! If I'm not mistaken, eyes parts like corneas can also be donated.
He touched some live wires while painting his church. He was in one of those baskets that lift you and he didn’t see the wires. His little girl has never been afraid of him. Even after he first came home from the hospital. This happened in Fort Worth.
