Desert Does It Seat Jacker For Lexus GX 4Runner FJ Cruiser 2003 and up DIY installation.

My better half was telling me how bad it was riding in the passenger seat of my Lexus GX470.
She said it was like she was sliding towards the dash all the time. That and her back hurt on long road trips. I noticed that too.
I did some research and found that we weren't the only ones to experience this problem.
I decided to give take a shot on a product called Seat Jackers by Desert Does It. There are cheap knock-offs on the internet but I decided to bite the bullet and buy the original.
The install was super fast .. about 15 minutes per seat.
Only tools needed were a ratchet and one 14MM and one 15MM socket.
During the video I mention in a couple of places that I'm not sure what the torque spec is .. It is 27 ft-lbs!
After going for an extended ride, we immediately noticed that their is indeed more thigh support versus the original seat mounting position. Additionally, you feel that you are sitting higher in the vehicle and have more of a commanding view of the road.
If you feel like your back is sore after extended road trips .. this product may be just what you need.
I know I'm never taking this mod out unless I'm getting rid of the vehicle.
