Most of the foreign reaction channels I have seen, they lacked proper understanding of the plot.. But you understood the plot..thats highly commendable ❤ Do review part 2...thats way more mind blowing🎉
6:40 Bahubali literally means "The man with strong arms" 13:25 A bad person gets angry if you correct him. A good person is glad to get corrected. 35:30 The bartender is the director, SS Rajamouli 47:55 Now you got it: The isn´t one movie and it´s sequel. It is ONE STORY presented in two halfs. 49:00 Bahubali had a budget of $ ~ 26 million. Bahubali 2 had $ ~ 37 million. RRR had slightly less than $ 80 million. By the way. The woman from the first scene was Sivagami, the queen mother! 51:10 The fashbak IS the main story. The "now" story is just a way to present it, and give it a conclusion.
29:54 Royal Indian horses are trained with there eyes covered there whole life and run only according to command so that they don't runaway seeing Elephants and other danger in battle field. That's why here the horse didn't back off seeing fire.
Embracing a bit of Indian cinema now and again is really going to do wonders for your channel viewership metrics whilst also enriching your experience as a reactor. It's a win win for fans and yourself 👍. Looking forward to seeing more in the future
Baahubali series (Indian Telugu language movie also called Tollywood) is a landmark and a classic of Indian cinema. It changed the whole Indian cinema's economics and storytelling approach. Till date Baahubali 2 is highest grossing Indian film ever. This series is the brain child of the visionary SS Rajamouli who also directed RRR. Btw "WHY KATAPPA KILLED BAAHUBALI" was the trending question across the country and the world for 2 years regardless of the age until the release of baahubali 2. I recommend SS Rajamouli's Eega(2012), one of the best films ever produced in India. It has a small budget but its one of a kind movie.🙏
Absolutely Yes. Bharat(India) History is Full of Such a Epic Historic Tales in Ancient Bharat. That Last Godlike Scene of RRR is Inspired by the Iconic Legendary Prince of Shree Ram and All of Humanity take inspiration from Him. In the World we've Taught that Alexander is Undefeated but the Truth is Alexander was Defeated by a Small King Porus and after Deadly Wounded, He died after he left India in Babylon. His Army was Devastated Completely
Great reaction. The lion king is a remake of Japanese Kimba cartoon. A lot of Japanese anime is inspired by indian mythology grand stories of heros. Bahubali junior is based on Krishna who is taken as a newborn baby across water to hide in a small village. Once he grows up, he kills his evil uncle king , who wanted to kill him and frees his parents who were in jail for over 20 plus years. Pls do react to part 2
I actually enjoyed part 2 more than part 1. would love to see your reaction to it for sure. on a side note, since you're branching out into foreign media I'd love to see you tackle some k-dramas. I think you'd totally dig a lot of them and it would drive a lot of traffic to your channel, for sure. I'd recommend Extraordinary Attorney Woo for your first one and if you like it, I have loads more to recommend. ❤
no movie can ever match the level of baahubali series. the background score, cinematography, dialogues, action, characters and story presentation is way beyond anyone can ever imagine.
08:49 yes cinematography done by same guy kk Senthil kumar who did in RRR He has done 8 movies with director Loved your reaction dude So calm so enjoyed You are such a calm person 😃
Lol, I would not be so sure of that!😅 Rajamouli kinda mastered the art of making Masala Cinema, which is uniquely Indian. That is his unique selling point for International audience at this point. I am not sure if any other Indian directors managed to reach that status in their respective genres.
Rajamouli's debut film was in 2001 and Masala films have been around since the 70's. It's literally the practice in Indian films of blending multiple genres, and is in nearly every modern Bollywood work, so what are you even talking about? Don't let the popularity of RRR and Bahu 1 + 2 overshadow the great work of the directors and creators that paved the way.
@@TheHeroClass I did not say Rajamouli invented Masala films, I said he became a prolific masala film maker over 2 decades of his career, which he did. No other Indian film maker till date have been improving with every film he made from a technical and execution standpoint like Rajamouli did.
Rajamouli isn’t a masala filmmaker. I feel that listing him as that type of genre filmmaker is underrepresenting what type of director he is. His films starting with Magadheera are blockbuster fantasy or historical epics.
This is a good reaction! I can see you are already doing a lot on your channel (various series like Buffy and Friends which are actually my 2 fav series ever!) but hopefully you keep exploring Indian cinema more! Here is a list of suggestions, all renowned movies 😊 *Bajrangi Bhaijaan* (dramedy written by the same writer as RRR and Baahubali who is actually the father of director SS Rajamouli!) *Eega* (Rajamouli's hit before Baahubali, contemporary fantasy with a lot of humour) *Sardar Udham* (biopic of an Indian revolutionary who assassinated a high ranking British official, one of the highest rated non English speaking movies in 2021) *My Name Is Khan* (drama with SRK who is unarguably the biggest movie star in India) *Thallumaala* (my fav last year along with RRR, it was one of the biggest hits in the Malayalam industry, it's a very unique sort of action-romcom with super creative and super fun editing and filmmaking technique in general, almost like a live action comic book at times) *Highway* (drama/coming of age by renowned director Imtiaz Ali, one of my all time fav movies) *Kaithi* and its even better spin off *Vikram (action, featuring 4 of the best actors of the country) *Super Deluxe* (a rather eccentric, unique hyperlink drama/dark comedy, considered one of the best Indian movies in recent years) *Udta Punjab* (also hyperlink drama/dark comedy, with Alia Bhatt who is one of the most talented actresses in the _world_ right now, she played Sita in RRR which was really just an extended cameo for her) *Raazi* (realistic spy drama based on a real story, led by Alia Bhatt) *Haider* (Hamlet adaptation) *Kumbalangi Nights* (slice of life drama about 4 brothers, also considered one of the best Indian movies in recent years, antagonist played by Fahadh Faasil who is one of the best actors in the country) And if you want a try a series (2 seasons so far which I think 10 ep each season) there is *The Family Man* on Amazon Prime, it's a great show following special cops trying to catch terrorists, but there is also a lot of humour and a focus on the main character trying to balance his job and his family life. I hope I can see one of the titles on your channel soon 😁
Thank goodness unlike other reactors you aren’t so cringed and confused about the multiple characters in the movie with different genres (+songs). Most foreign reactors tries to find ways to make fun of Indian cinemas and look over the dialogues. The story of Bahubali is quite easy (compared to GOT) if one pays attention. Kattappa is a really complex and nice character (he’s like a perfect mixture of Ned Stark and Barristen Selmy) so to think in the end it was Kattappa was such a nice twist. You’re right that Shivudu/Mahendra is the son of Amrendra Bahubali. I highly recommend to watch Bahubali the conclusion which I think is even better than first movie.
FYI shiva is not a god of muscle, he’s the destroyer of world😂 Acc to our mythology the world turns a very miserable place filled with darkness and cruelty and this god decides to end. He is considered as the top god (god of gods)by many.
It is just as usual makeup as every other heroine in a movie is given, the actress playing the role of Avantika is actually white as milk and gorgeous as enchantress. India is a land of natural diversity that's why you can't specify a definite race or colour of a person here, they differ geographical area and climate within the country.
Story is soo good but logics are not that great 🫠 35:27 Wine seller is the director 😂 just a short cameo 😁 he used to do such cameos in some of his movies
The second one is even more beautiful and epic than the first one.
