15:29 I am glad you mentioned it. Most of the Indians would go ga ga over ARR( I am myself a big fan of him) but M.M. Keeravani is a legendary music director who has been delivering great music/smashing soundtracks consistently unlike his contemporaries. People aren't giving him much credit.

A lot of big budget(south indian) Films introduced after this.
That Battle sequence is still a benchmark for stunt choreography in Indian cinema. Execution wise 👌
main story is flashback because it's about Bahubali not about Shiva.

Some interesting facts I have learned about this duology:
1. The language spoken by the 'wild men' is apparently a proper language created just for this movie.
2. The setting of the movie is only a few generations removed from the epic Mahabharata when people on the whole were stronger and fitter and the main characters were basically superheroes. So the feats of strength shown here may well be believable.
No....the language used by wild men is not created ....actually it's been speaking by some small community of people in India....

The music composer of both the Bahubali franchise is the same person who composed for RRR, the legendary music composer, M.M. Keeravani sir; and he is a cousin of S.S. Rajamouli sir. Rajamouli sir is a perfectionist, he always picks up his team who are capable of giving life to his vision on screen; and Keeravani sir comes under those five gems of Rajamouli sir's grand endeavours. He is known for the epic-ness in his music, the speciality of his music is that it always enhances the emotion or hype of that particular scene.

One thing i love about rajamouli is how he showed us the mahishmati kingdom intro scene where people were tortured and tormented but in background the song was about how great the kingdom is.

This epic movie was made in just $21 million whereas hollywood movies of this scale usually have a budget of $150-200 million. So just imagine the kind of creativity that has gone into making it within such budget

Bahubali is an exceptional epic movie rooted in Sanatana Hindu culture. Beautifully portrays the concept of dharma and karma
They are cousins, steph. Sivagami is the bad guy's mother. Bahubali's father was king. But our hero was born after his death, so Sivagami decided to raise him as her son and decided that the one who was better will rule the world.
This was not taken well by her husband, the cripple. Thus, thus whole commotion. You will enjoy the 2nd part even more. Hope you upload it soon though. 😂
