@@ttiffany imo it's something like haseul > chuu > kim lip > heejin, yves, jinsoul > choerry > hyunjin > yeojin, vivi > olivia > gowon those middle 3 are VERY close to each other imo; the ones under them aren't bad by any means but theres definitely a gap between them in terms of their vocal skills. (choerry and heevesoul are VERY close though, as are haseul and chuu) loona members for one reason or another struggle with switching between chest and head voice-- haseul (debut to butterfly) had the best control of this while chuu struggled at first but has gotten better over time (doesn't mean the issue's totally fixed but she has better control now compared to heart attack) jinsoul definitely still has an issue with it because she sticks in chest voice all the time. when she's getting high notes (example being butterfly) she tends to try and stay in chest voice which leads to her sounding shouty or straining too hard which isn't good for her voice in the long run. other than that, her pronunciation can seem a bit messy at times and she lacks vibrato 90% of the time on the other hand though, her chest voice being so dominant gives her a lot of power in her vocals, especially when she's belting (which she gets a lot of in loona songs), and her runs are strong (so what / love battery) a lot of ppl place jinsoul over kim lip which i heavily disagree with-- kim lip is more nasal which tends to throw people off but her technique is better, while jinsoul's could do some serious damage if she doesnt adjust it

This may sound weird, but I think Jin Soul is talking about the girls she "colored," and I think one of them is HaSeul. HaSeul was originally yellow, like all the golf balls in ViViD. But HaSeul started feeling lonely or having self doubt. You can see her looking a little melancholy in The Carol, and dressed in Blue, Jin Soul's color. Mixing the yellow and blue became green--HaSeul's present color. According to the lore, HaSeul also brings rain whenever she sings. I think that's why JinSoul was singing in the rain. theres plenty of leaks online and you can see that there was no recorded choreo like they did for the other mvs. plus the dance was altered (or so i heard) for cinema theory and even then it's not really a complete dance. they seemed to only have focused on the parts that were shown in the music video sadly

haseul > chuu > kim lip > heejin, yves, jinsoul > choerry > hyunjin > yeojin, vivi > olivia > gowon
those middle 3 are VERY close to each other imo; the ones under them aren't bad by any means but theres definitely a gap between them in terms of their vocal skills. (choerry and heevesoul are VERY close though, as are haseul and chuu)
loona members for one reason or another struggle with switching between chest and head voice-- haseul (debut to butterfly) had the best control of this while chuu struggled at first but has gotten better over time (doesn't mean the issue's totally fixed but she has better control now compared to heart attack)
jinsoul definitely still has an issue with it because she sticks in chest voice all the time. when she's getting high notes (example being butterfly) she tends to try and stay in chest voice which leads to her sounding shouty or straining too hard which isn't good for her voice in the long run. other than that, her pronunciation can seem a bit messy at times and she lacks vibrato 90% of the time
on the other hand though, her chest voice being so dominant gives her a lot of power in her vocals, especially when she's belting (which she gets a lot of in loona songs), and her runs are strong (so what / love battery)
a lot of ppl place jinsoul over kim lip which i heavily disagree with-- kim lip is more nasal which tends to throw people off but her technique is better, while jinsoul's could do some serious damage if she doesnt adjust it

This may sound weird, but I think Jin Soul is talking about the girls she "colored," and I think one of them is HaSeul. HaSeul was originally yellow, like all the golf balls in ViViD. But HaSeul started feeling lonely or having self doubt. You can see her looking a little melancholy in The Carol, and dressed in Blue, Jin Soul's color. *Did you know in a DigiPedi interview JinSoul had trained to dive just for underwater shots in the MV? She went underwater before they started filming though and came up out of breath that it was too hard for her to continue shooting underwater. Crazy to think the MV we have known to love could have had JinSoul actually swimming! But it does not end there, at the time their female manager had her hair bleached and was going to dye it on the day of the underwater filming, but since JinSoul couldnt do it they had her as a stunt double!
