- Everyone has opinions about Disney, some more popular than others. A couple of my "unpopular opinions" are well known, but here I share 3 that I haven't before- and some of what I say in my last one will definitely not be popular with some.
A behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there's lots of stories to tell. Here is some of them...

I think the least comfortable ears I own are "Glow With the Show" ones that have a battery pack in them - MB+ makes a lot more sense for an interactive wearable.
Slinky IS fun BECAUSE it does not have any big drops and sunce it is outdoors you can brace for what's there. No argument about Cosmic Rewind being overrated, but to be fair I've only ridden it twice.
Pan has a nice standby queue in the World but bigger ships would be cool. Updating CoP and Figment could be good as long as the Tomorrow and Spark songs are kept.
Removing Autopia or at least changing to electric would be nice.
Hopefully Matterhorn will be rebuilt to modern effects and smooth track but a similar overall layout.
I love my ears on a cloudy day, but when there's sun, I need real protection!
I agree on Pinocchio, Snow White was just revamped a few years ago at DL. I think it'll be hard redoing some of these rides since the spaces are so small, and modern disney is built on a much larger scale. Since matterhorn is surrounded by used park, there's no space to expand the mountain.

My disney unpopular opinion: Theme parks like Disneyland and WDW are no place for small children.
Children lack the endurance and temperament to walk several miles, stand in line for hours, and endure the severe elements. Often they're too young to appreciate or even remember the experience.
Wait until they're eight at least.

Love your videos!!!! I am a Disney fan, Passholder and DVC member!!! So here's my opinion...#1 I would love to see Hollywood Studios show lots more of how movies are made ! Bring back the car chase! I love Indiana Jones..... But show me some new things - there are lots of exciting things they could share with us in the the Indiana Universise! #2 Tron.... as someone who doesn't ride coasters...Tron give a thrill to more than just the riders!!!!!!!! More Please!!!!! I love it! The music, the sound of the ride as it zooms all around you!!!! Love it! #3 Better rides for people who are handicapped like the wonderful People Mover.... great ez ride....but people who have mobility issues can't ride it - and it's a perfect ride for them!!!!! Another ez ride made maddenly difficult for a person in a scooter (or even a walker) is the all-newly updated Train!!!!!!!!! Major BOO!!!! Other rides like the little train to Discovery Cove (?) ez on...ez off! And so many more rides that let you stay of the scooter. :)

My daughter collects the ears but not the ugly generic version you showed. Some of us don't do well on the mega roller coasters so the tamer ones at Disneyland are just fine for me. I can't speak to WDW as I've never been to Florida. We all can't tolerate everything that others can. Yes there are ways that things could be approved, but there is some place for tradition...ha ha the Matterhorn = immediate visit to the chiropractor! But for some reason people enjoy suffering.
Stitch , it's tough to be a bug and the speedway all need replaced with something a whole lot better :)
I think people rave about Slinky Dog Dash, Guardians and all those rides because they're NEW.
Definitely agree Pinocchio and Snow White need to be updated. You look at how they updated Alice in Wonderland and how good it is now so you know it is possible. Also agree that Autopia needs to go (my most hated ride at Disneyland)
I say: Redo the entire Futureworld in MK. Nothing dates and ages so fast as predictions about the future.
Do something thats fits Tron and Space mountain instead, or that complements the other areas in MK. J.
1.) I believe the ears were created for the Mouse Club mouseketeers back in the 50's then they expanded them into Disneyland to market the show. They managed to outlive the marketing push for the show if that's the case.
2.) The Guardians deserve better than the shoehorned coaster in Epcot in my opinion. They would have been a great candidate for a rethemed Star Tours. You could still have the randomized sequences & having Rocket & Groot as your pilots writes itself.
3.) I've always thought they could close Mickey's PhilharMagic (3D films are on the way out it appears) close Flight itself then replace both of them with an updated Peter Pan D-Ticket. Not sure about the feasibility of that but those 2 attractions could honestly be replaced for something more substantial.
I have several ears that have the year visited embroidered on them. They stay on my shelf as a memento.

This comment section is gonna be fun. As someone who's spent 3 days of 27 years at Disney World only I kind of have no opinions so I'll just grab my popcorn and watch everyone else.
I think the seven dwarves minecart coaster is sorely overhyped. I waited two hours for it. The seating dug into my hips and didn’t let me move around comfortably. It lasted only a minute. The fact the cars move is cool, but every time it did it hurt me. Then you get to see an animatronic Snow White at the end, but my view of her was blocked. Not worth two hours in my opinion. Could’ve ridden big thunder four times.

I got an unpopular opinion on Disney. Every film since with Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, or Bolt (whichever came first), except for Princess & the Frog and the Winnie the Pooh revisit, are cosmetically inferior to all films up to and including Home On the Range.
I just think that CG is inherently inferior to fully hand drawn or hand drawn hybrid because it lends itself to a film being potentially rushed to meet a deadline at the expense of the story or the aesthetic. Granted, low budget hand drawn is generally an indocator of the same problem, but in CG no such indication exists, so the film can be hyped up only to come up short.
Matterhorn had some retracking done in 78, at the splashdown but ya, they retracked all the coasters but this one, its needs to be done before Disneyland's 80th birthday or by the parks 100th. The gas go carts I read at Disneyland are going EV soon. If they do that bring back the Corvette cars and get rid of the old Chevron cars. And rebuilt the people mover and rotating theater in Tomorrowland. At least bring it back to 77 look. Also add a Quickcar coaster to any Disneyland park, that be amazing.
Any Disney park that is, or add another nod to Disney afternoon in toon town
What Rockn Rollercoaster at Disney World in Hollywood studios. That is definitely a coaster like you are describing.
I agree with your opinions except I love Circlevision. A unpopular opinion that I have, at least with Iger, is I think going all out on IP is a big mistake. I'd love to see more original non-IP attractions and most especially non-IP lands that are more flexible to accommodate different IP attractions over decades without having to completely gut an IP based land because it has lost popularity. They may not have had to do that yet, but they will.
Splash hurt me personally alot, and though I know change will always happen, when your replacing a beloved classic you had better do a great job...and with current Disney...I don't think they'll do any new ride proper(The original Imagination still hurts for this reason
From what I’ve heard Tiana’s Bayou adventure is going to be awesome so they’d better not let me down again like they partly did for Tron. I believe that they can do it the question is will they. I guess I’ll just have to wait until my trip in July to find out.
We have not been to a park since 2016 so we have not ridden any of the new rides. We did like Toy Story Mania. As far as the Magic Kingdom goes, we miss the Really Old Stuff. The Skyway Trams and the Swan Boats from the 70’s. The pictures of the destruction that has occurred in EPCOT, make me sad. In my opinion, and I know all about those, I.P. Does NOT belong in that park. We actually liked the original O Canada movie better. The Splendid China movie did change once, but I really don’t remember it. One change, if it ever occurred to, would make me drive up to the board and slap them silly would be to change mpressions de France. That is the only thing that we watched at least once every trip. Sometimes more than once. We love the scenery and the music. They do need to improve the quality of the film. But nothing else.
I don’t think Guardians is the best ride ever, but it definitely exceeded my expectations and I love it! It doesn’t belong in EPCOT to me, but Avengers Campus could work. It’d make more sense having two Guardians rides there than one misplaced one in EPCOT😂
The issue with that is because of Universal so unfortunately Disney can’t create a Marvel land or Avengers Campus like in Disneyland because Universal has the rights to Marvel in Florida meaning Disney can’t use any characters that they are using.

My unpopular Disney Opinon is Star Wars/Galaxy's Edge. Mostly at WDW. I don't understand the Hype around it & I much would rather have something like a Avengers Campus like they have at DCA. When The Starcrusier Closed...I knew(in my opinion) that Galaxy's Edge was a Faliure for WDW.
It’s not a failure only the hotel closed. Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance are very popular rides. So you can’t call the whole land a failure. Also the create your own droid experience is awesome. The hotel failed but the land itself didn’t.
Autopia need to go, gas go carts on a track seem out of date. You could fit 2 rides in that space.
Take out Winnie the pooh at Disneyland and put in a Lion King or Stitch Dark ride

I have several comments about change but I think I'll abstain. Change is good when you are doing it to make something better. What change would I like? For Disney to STOP BUILDING RESORTS at WDW. For Pete's sake, we don't need thousands of vacant hotel rooms, we need more parks to enjoy our vacation and reduce the line wait!!!!!!!!! I am not 100% sure but 36 resorts with 35,000 rooms, SERIOUSLY? You need more?
and how many ppl can afford any of those 36k rooms anymore?! Disney needs more park, not a place for park goers, or bring back resorts ppl can actually afford to stay at

My unpopular opinion go back to silver Dollar City fire in the hole 2 it's not good it is a just flat boring-looking ride the Victorian design on the buildings is gone among other problems.
You do have some really bad takes. Most are bad. What really needs to happen is to make star wars land a true star wars land not one nased on the disney movies which really aren't star wars. Ride of the resistance would still be a huge bore though.

Rise of the Resistance is not a bore and Smugglers Run is not Disney based. What do you even mean by that. Lucasum is still the same company. They produce the films not Disney. Disney just owns that filming company now so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@kaitlinschwarz3644 Lucasfilm is owned by Disney, and you'd better believe me when i say Disney does dictate what goes in the parks and on the big screen. If Lucasfilm were still it's own thing, we'd still have Indiana Jones, Willow, and Star Wars- Kathleen kennedy very much nends the knee to Bob Iger, and vice versa-
Rise is a bore according to me, my sister and my daughter. The only people I know personally who have gone on it. But I am glad others like it since it helps keep lines down at the good rides in the park. Disney Star wars is not stars wars. They killed it and keep defiling it's corpse. The sequel trilogy betrayed the story Lucas created. It is garbage as is 95 percent everything else Disney has made in the name of Star wars. Disney is also on track to kill marvel and Pixar so that is their MO right now. Iger and his toady board need to go and then maybe that murderer Kennedy and her minions will get thrown out of there.
