I stopped buying Fender and Gibson guitars many years ago and switched over to Jackson, Charvel, ESP, and Ibanez. I recently bought a beautiful Sire LC L7 guitar with a transparent blue flame top and an ebony fingerboard for $641. This guitar is beautiful, stays in tune, and has an incredible sound. Sire is now another source of beautiful, well built, affordable, and awesome sounding guitars. Great video, thanks for sharing!
Ahah !!! Every time in every video, I put the English sub-titles "ON" just at the beginning, and it's written: "Hi, I'm El Cavalo Verta", or today it's: "Hi, I'm Edgar Valo Verta" !!!! I'm laughing hard every time !!! I enjoy your content as usual, love your guitars and your playing (80's style is f*****in' great)! Cheers from France !!!
I love how you play in all the demos on this channel. Incredible tone, and a great review of this guitar that helped me decide to get one as a backup for my old boat anchor Gibson LP Standard.
I rate a guitar on how it inspires you to play and create/write etc. It goes back to when I was you and only playing a few years and would travel to the city (Dublin) whenever I could to visit the music stores and play the guitars I could only dream of owning. I soon realise that even though the store has a lot of guitars there were only a few that would actually inspire me. I would literally make up riffs and music right there in the store. And imo it was down to the guitar, how it made you feel, and how that enabled and inspired you to play. So judging by your awesome playing and new piece of music this Sire seems to have passed that test with flying colours 🤘
Thomann has them for 555 € right now, I'm tempted to get one, install a chrome scratchplate and some Duncan JB/59 or JB/Jazz pickups and turn it into a John Sykes ''tribute'' guitar. P.S. The body is mahagony and it has a maple cap, the models with the flame ''top'', have also a veneer. And it also has a treble-bleed circuit which makes it sound more bright than a usual L/P type guitar. Larry Carlton & many other session guitarists like Steve Lukather preferred that more bright tone for studio work. You can easily remove it and the guitar will sound more like a trad. L/P afterwards.
I’ve never played a Sire, but it looks and sounds like a decent guitar. I bought a Burny RLG-60, which is a Standard ‘copy’, even has an ‘authentic’ headstock, for pretty much the same money as the Sire and i cant fault the quality and finish and has outstanding stock pickups.
I've had one for a while and bought it with the idea of putting EMG's in it because I don't currently have a guitar like that, but haven't yet and think it's pretty great as it is. For the money, it's a knockout. Note that it has the smaller type pots like on an Epiphone, I really wish they hadn't done that, but that's my only gripe. It stays in tune well, intonates well, feels great and sounds very good.
was on the list, but decided to go with the Epiphone Jerry Cantrell “Wino” instead. more similar to the Gibson Les Paul Custom. but also slightly more expensive too. you are a riff master! next you need to do like Zakk and try the hello kitty 😂😂, I’m sure you’ll come with amazing riffs😂
@@andrewsmall4865 love it. I did the pleck with sweetwater (maybe not necessary). but it is a machine. spec wise is more similar to the gibson les paul custom, than the Epi los paul custom. Neck and pickups are more similar. same body.
