The Herta's LC is a weird situation, in a vacuum it's a strong LC, but Erudition has some of the best overall F2P LC variety, really strong Gacha 4* options, and is the best LC on the Battle Pass. The BP LC, "Today is Another Peaceful Day" at S5 is such a small damage difference compared to The Herta signature that it's crazy (I believe it's less than an 8% difference in DPS based on calcs). The gap between Signature vs 4* LCs on The Herta vs any other limited 5* DPS is much smaller (probably bc the Battle Pass LC is nearly identical to her signature with a lower base ATK). Although The Herta's signature has the benefit of making a good Crit ratio easier to maintain, and the Skill Point after Ult can make her easier to use with non-SP friendly teams (although based on calcs Sunday is one of her best teammates). "Today Is Another Peaceful Day" S5 might as well be a 5* LC, "Eternal Calculus" and "Night on the Milky Way" perform amazing in PF and will likely be good in future MoCs (since we're apparently getting more AoE content), "The Seriousness of Breakfast" and "Geniuses' Repose" are amazing for a lot of MoC cycles and PF, "The Day The Cosmos Fell" is amazing in most situations, and "Make the World Clamor" is overall decent especially at S5.
you forgot the part where having 2 erudition also locks the minimum energy gain at 3 even when 1 enemy is present. which make Gallagher not that much worse than linghsa (still worse but not that massive gap, same for aventurine)
I was about to drop a comment asking for Robin pull, but she immediately mentioned it. What a great service. I think going for E0S0 + Robin is the better choice.
E0S0 is enough, with RMC + Herta4* for ice weak enemy or Fugue RMC + Himeko for fire weak enemy, she can easily fill 40k point for fire weak, she will feed nigasanaiwa to no end
The Herta is amazing even at baseline, though I've been wondering what's the difference between E0S0, E0S1, and most importantly, E1S0. I know her E1 is cracked, and I have a couple of her alternative LC's, like Geniuses' Repose at S3 I think? And the BP LC at S2. It's interesting to see E1 isn't as good as S1 though, overall. I guess I'll see how my pulls go? I'm at about 45 pity right now, give or take a few, and have 50 saved up. If I win the 50/50, I'll probably try and pull for her LC then. Because I doubt I can get her to E2 without swiping, which I won't do anymore unless the dev team fixes the powercreep and predatory practices. Especially since the releasing characters are getting increasingly reliant on their Light Cones to not feel like they're crippled.

I am skipping because of the ridiculous 4 stars that comes along with the banner. Like why are they still adding Natasha and Asta in banners, man? We absolutely need more 4 star characters in the game, new and better ones. I am only going to pull for the 2nd phase probably or just save for the meantime. At least there, there's Tingyun, new 4* LC, and DDD.
I mean yeah, we need more 4 stars. But to be fair, we have quite a bit of viable 4 stars for hardest content in the game. March is free, Pela, Tingyun, Gallager, Moze, QinQue historically, even Guinafen and Asta are still used effectively for end game. And idk about you, but I skipped 5 stars multiple times because my 4 stars were good enough. Topaz? Eh, I got March and Moze, im good. Lingsha? Yea she is amazing but Galli is good enough so im good. Etc. Again, I am down for more 4 stars. But if anything, my motivation for pulling 5 stars kinda dwindles since many 4 stars are already good enough. But thats just me. I agree with Natasha btw; she specifically should never be in a banner ever.
Unless you are either a new or returning player, most people aren't pulling on banners for 4 stars seeing as there's only a select few that even provide any value in the current game. (ie. Tingyun and Pela) If you are new and don't have either Tingyun and/or Pela then yes you'll most likely get more out of your resources by pulling on banners that are featuring those 2 characters alongside 5 stars that you want. That being said I would always prioritize 5 stars over 4 stars, It's not worth spending your resources, especially if you are F2P, trying to aim for 4 stars, you'll get what you need eventually over the course of just playing the game. Don't skip characters that you may want just because the 4 star line up is bad, chance are that you won't even pull the 4 stars you want regardless.
Practically every 4 stars in this game aren't that great anymore no reason to aim for them when 5 stars are the main source of your account progression however there a few exceptions such as Serval which works well with The Herta if you have Serval with Eagle set + Vonwaq mainly to get stacks for the Herta and Gallagher is still Viable in break teams and is also a sustain option for The Herta since Gallagher is skill point positive and the rest are Tingyun , pela which work with Acheron aswell as Tingyun which works with many characters the need energy Jingliu ,Dang IL , blade and Yunli, Argenti I could go on but my point Is many players are going to want the 5 star options over the 4 stars anyday

E0S0 is enough during her release. But when 3.6/3.7 comes around, S1 will probably become a necessity along with whoever her BiS Erudition support will be in 3.x

So i think her value is really really high considering she is 0/0.5 tier in MOC (if she isn't 0 tier at launch she will be one patch later thanks to tribbie) , 0 tier PF 0 tier AS + low investment for entry level sice in 3.0 u can run her with serval RMC + whaterver healer u have but THEN in 3.1 u can free ur RMC and put him back to break team (if u don't have fugue) and get tribbie so her premium team will be something like Serval/jade (serval gives more stacks of herta passive btw) - tribbie - and probably huohuo for the synergy with tribbie . I would still try to get S1 herta if u can this patch and either have tribbie guaranteed or start saving gems for more supports and or E2 herta

Depends on the skill point economy, the damage boost is not that incredible comparing It to the Next best LC option, Acheron S1 with Jiaqiuo got powercrept anyway..., they are just that greedy
I've loved Herta since 1.0, excited to get her!! Already have Jade, Argenti, small Herta and Himeko ready to partner with her. I hope if Hoyo ever lets Screwllum out of jail he'll work with her too lol
I have Jade, and I can get Herta with LC.But I know that new harmony Triplet is coming out, and I don't know if she is a better character overall. Who should I pull for?
Your Herta can pair with either Himeko or normal Herta for a smoother experience in Pure Fiction, and you'd have an easier time in MoC/Apocalyptic Shadow with the big Herta.
Obviously Hoyoverse will make next Pure Fiction a little harder just to increase new Herta value. If you can clear PF with 80k, maybe you will be OK , but if you only get less than 65k, maybe you will struggle if you still using the same team
People doubting her Lightcon S1 offers Flexibility, that is why it is highly rated, short of Skill Points, need Heals Buffs or other team mates skills. You ultimate and then Basic attack for 2 Skill points. that is flexibility very few Traces or Lightcons offer. but as always if you are lacking Lingsha or Robin in that order. then go for them. they give more benefit then the lightcon. But my other favorite characters. if you ain't pulling Herta her lightcon isn't a issue cause it is bricked to be used by only 140 Energy Ultimates. so no Himeko or 4 Star herta can use it. (here I thought they only wanted money, one lightcon that would have been a must pull, if it wasn't for 140 Energy requirement).
what about herta speed tuning, is she using atk or spd boot , the video doenst explain and how to tune the speed with sunday or rmc is it just 135 134 or what
For Sunday you want to have Sunday be -1 speed so he can action forward her right after her turn, so 135 Herta 134 Sunday works. With RMC, you usually want your Herta to be 2nd or 3rd in the turn order, so Mem's first action forward happens after Herta takes her first turn (both > 134)
Huohuo synergizes more if you're running Robin due to the team energy regen on her ultimate, though you will likely have SP problems with E0S0 Herta on that team. Lingsha with her summon attacks more often and helps regenerate energy without having to use skill, so it's a bit comfier to play. I would say if you have Huohuo you don't need to pull Lingsha, but can see how the team feels to play first.
she's rly not on lvl of acheron or firefly? as in when they were released? I always heard she's broken and ultimate powercreep, at least with E2, which i will be getting anyway. Kinda glad if she's not as strong, cause maybe then powercreep will slow down

Thanks! Would you recommend Jade's light cone or Herta's? I got lucky with Jade's E1 and use the BP light cone but I remember hearing Jade's light cone is insanely strong. I can only get one so either Herta or Jade will use BP and the other signature. I'm leaning towards Jade because she has really helped me in Apocalyptic Shadow as E1 goes Brrr with Feixiao and Herta's cone doesn't seem that strong from your vid.
I'm curious how is Robin the best in class support? Don't you want a support that also hits the enemies as well? I can't imagine her damage proc's on ally hits count as additional hits no? Or does her raw buff power and occasional team advance make up for it? I figured you'd want someone like Fugue/HMC/RMC etc. that increases the amount of hits on enemies as well as buffing, instead of just mostly buffing?
People have deduced that Robin is mainly only worth it with jade. With jade and Robin together, the damage is worth it. But with a serval or other herta it ain't worth it and trailblazer is better. At least that is what the people who tested are saying.
Im new , the only limited characther i have is acheron and the triple banners are confusing me rn. I was originally planning to pull for Lingsha but Herta and Robin made me reconsider my choice. You have any advice?
If ur only "premium" team is acheron get 100% the herta since u can use with her RMC for free and serval then focus on lingsha as u need 2 premium healers . However keep in mind gallagher should be included in the equation so u could run galla with acheron and lingsha with the herta . Skip robin , it's too late and new harmony will come out for new teams . U should then focus on ur the herta team and buying new supports or if they rerun jiaoqiu u can get him for acheron and have 2 good teams then eventually later on u will get an upgraded team over acheron
All 3 characters you mentions are good in their own ways. And you are a newbie, so I'm guessing the advice pick who you like doesn't work here Short answer: The Herta > Lingsha > Robin Long answer: You already have a dps as Acheron, but she doesn't do enough damage at the moment in end game contents if you don't invest in her signature lightcone + Jiaoqiu as support (Note: She's still excellent in clearing simulated universe). The Herta, on the other hand, is a great choice for new players. Her team is really cheap to maximize her damage, slap in an Erudition char like Serval/Herta (Note: their builds are usually full speed + Energy Recharge, or you can go damage build for Pure Fiction), Remembrance Trailblazer (free E6 in the future, really good support character in both damage and buff) and a shielder/healer. The Herta helps you sweep Simulated universe for more jades to pull + Pure Fiction in the long run. MoC and Apocolyptic Shadow may need some ice weak enemies, but she's good overall. After you have Herta, you can consider pulling for Lingsha. She's a fantastic healer who can basically do anything in any team. You can also use her in The Herta team as she synergies really well with her AoE. She's one valuable character that you won't regret pulling. Robin is still a top tier support, however, dps like Acheron or The Herta doesn't synergize well with her. If you pull her now, she will be pretty clunky to use until you pull for Feixao.
@@pallpksp9142second this advice acheron is very good so youre setup very well for a while, but acheron needs investment long term in the form of teams. acheron and the herta are a similar type of unit (buffing based off their own path in teams, lore reasons) but herta is easier to build at the moment. best strategy would be to invest in a dps like herta now and invest in acheron longer long term, or go for lingsha to setup a different future/ current team
Great video! What would say is the recommendation between getting Jade or light cone/constellations for Herta? It seems like Heartas F2P teams are good enough, but I was almost hopping to find a reason to get Jade as I skipped her last time.
If you like Jade I think you can definitely pull her! Meta wise I think investing more into Herta (either constellation or light cone) will be more useful long term.
Really wouldn’t recommend Jade unless you just really want her. Rumor has it these potentially a better erudition partner coming for Herta later and Jade herself is already a bit niche. Vertical investment into Herta for now is what I would do personally.
Personally I would invest in lightcone/eidolons for Herta. Jade to The Herta is like Topaz to Feixiao. Both are not substantial enough to make a difference in clearing.
I do actually struggle with survivability, as I only have Gallagher and Aventurine. So should I wait for the possibility of there being a better support for THerta, or go ahead and try to get Lingsha? I feel like Aven's shields won't help much if I'm going to keep action advancing THerta
im pretending to pull for maybe E0S1 or E1S0 or even E1S1 if im lucky, but thats not what i want to ask, i have a planar sphere that i prepared for herta with main stat atk 43.2% and substats crit R 2.5% and crit dmg 16.2%, should i try to get one with ice dmg as main stat or should i keep this?

I have seen many people said RMC is the best supp for the herta and Sunday only good support if ur character have summon thing like jing yuan or any rememberance character
S1 now unless u can pull E2 now (u won't) , Huohuo might be her best support cause tribbie synergizes with her next patch but in 3.0 lingsha is her Bis . However there are a lot of options based on what u have stating from gallagher with QPQ . Why S1>E1 ? cause E1 is just a damage buff , sure it will be easier to pull for E2 later on but i think if u start saving after tribbie u will easily get her E2 on rerun and keep in mind The herta will be useful not only in MoC but also PF and AS so she has a lot of value considering she's also low invest at her entry lvl
they are all pretty strong tbh. I would say castorice could be stronger, probably as strong as the herta, but at most 15% stronger. In the end it also all depends on type of content so hard to say tho
So you pull for a character that increase character with servants value, in a game state where there are only three of them and only one of those is a properly carry, and you realize that nobody needs him actually? 😅 Don't worry, Sunday will be useful some later
the only once who arent struggling now are whales with meta e2-6 characters.. Ofc f2p if they want to clear endgame content should pull THerta bc with 3.0 she will be the best dps that we will have in HSR bc of this infamous powercreep that everyone is sick already.
I've been f2p ever since console and I'm not struggling. I see plenty of f2p not struggling, and play non meta too. Basically, if you think the only way to beat end game is with money or meta, hoyo tricked you. People prove this all the time. Seele literally has fastest clears in moc, minimal investment. Jingliu has great clear times this moc too according to stats, no money spent. Hell, my dot team with freaking Sampo beat moc12. Gotta learn to vertically invest and play well if you are f2p and want to play non meta. It's not hard. But, if you want comfort? Oh sure. Pick up the new toy of the month and click auto battle, you won. Otherwise no, power creep can be handled with smart play. Hell, someone 4 cycled with freaking Dr ratio, no eidolons and only 1 sig on the group. It is what it is.
It's only a problem if you keep chasing the meta characters. That means you have build them which delays investing your older unit. But if you keep investing non-meta units, they will still clear just fine and last longer so you can skip newer units. That is not to deny powercreep exist because it does but can be mitigated by player investing their units well.

The thing is they didnt give her actual true dmg (they gave her final attack as dmg) if they did she'd be the best dps in the game

E0S0 is enough during her release. But when 3.6/3.7 comes around, S1 will probably become a necessity along with whoever her BiS Erudition support will be in 3.x

So i think her value is really really high considering she is 0/0.5 tier in MOC (if she isn't 0 tier at launch she will be one patch later thanks to tribbie) , 0 tier PF 0 tier AS + low investment for entry level sice in 3.0 u can run her with serval RMC + whaterver healer u have but THEN in 3.1 u can free ur RMC and put him back to break team (if u don't have fugue) and get tribbie so her premium team will be something like Serval/jade (serval gives more stacks of herta passive btw) - tribbie - and probably huohuo for the synergy with tribbie .
I would still try to get S1 herta if u can this patch and either have tribbie guaranteed or start saving gems for more supports and or E2 herta

Depends on the skill point economy, the damage boost is not that incredible comparing It to the Next best LC option, Acheron S1 with Jiaqiuo got powercrept anyway..., they are just that greedy

No, she has even more built-in attack actually (when she uses her Ultimate she gets 80% attack lasting 3 turns)

can you explain what benefits someone would get from the herta if you already have a well built Himeko and normal herta that can clear Pure fiction
Your Herta can pair with either Himeko or normal Herta for a smoother experience in Pure Fiction, and you'd have an easier time in MoC/Apocalyptic Shadow with the big Herta.
Obviously Hoyoverse will make next Pure Fiction a little harder just to increase new Herta value.
If you can clear PF with 80k, maybe you will be OK , but if you only get less than 65k, maybe you will struggle if you still using the same team
People doubting her Lightcon S1 offers Flexibility, that is why it is highly rated, short of Skill Points, need Heals Buffs or other team mates skills. You ultimate and then Basic attack for 2 Skill points. that is flexibility very few Traces or Lightcons offer. but as always if you are lacking Lingsha or Robin in that order. then go for them. they give more benefit then the lightcon.
But my other favorite characters. if you ain't pulling Herta her lightcon isn't a issue cause it is bricked to be used by only 140 Energy Ultimates. so no Himeko or 4 Star herta can use it.
(here I thought they only wanted money, one lightcon that would have been a must pull, if it wasn't for 140 Energy requirement).
what about herta speed tuning, is she using atk or spd boot , the video doenst explain and how to tune the speed with sunday or rmc is it just 135 134 or what
For Sunday you want to have Sunday be -1 speed so he can action forward her right after her turn, so 135 Herta 134 Sunday works. With RMC, you usually want your Herta to be 2nd or 3rd in the turn order, so Mem's first action forward happens after Herta takes her first turn (both > 134)

How much is the difference between Lingsha in your Healer slot to HuoHuo? 😀
Huohuo synergizes more if you're running Robin due to the team energy regen on her ultimate, though you will likely have SP problems with E0S0 Herta on that team. Lingsha with her summon attacks more often and helps regenerate energy without having to use skill, so it's a bit comfier to play. I would say if you have Huohuo you don't need to pull Lingsha, but can see how the team feels to play first.

Thanks! Would you recommend Jade's light cone or Herta's? I got lucky with Jade's E1 and use the BP light cone but I remember hearing Jade's light cone is insanely strong. I can only get one so either Herta or Jade will use BP and the other signature.
I'm leaning towards Jade because she has really helped me in Apocalyptic Shadow as E1 goes Brrr with Feixiao and Herta's cone doesn't seem that strong from your vid.

I'm curious how is Robin the best in class support? Don't you want a support that also hits the enemies as well? I can't imagine her damage proc's on ally hits count as additional hits no? Or does her raw buff power and occasional team advance make up for it?
I figured you'd want someone like Fugue/HMC/RMC etc. that increases the amount of hits on enemies as well as buffing, instead of just mostly buffing?
People have deduced that Robin is mainly only worth it with jade. With jade and Robin together, the damage is worth it. But with a serval or other herta it ain't worth it and trailblazer is better. At least that is what the people who tested are saying.

Im new , the only limited characther i have is acheron and the triple banners are confusing me rn. I was originally planning to pull for Lingsha but Herta and Robin made me reconsider my choice. You have any advice?
Prioritize lingsha > robin > herta
If ur only "premium" team is acheron get 100% the herta since u can use with her RMC for free and serval then focus on lingsha as u need 2 premium healers . However keep in mind gallagher should be included in the equation so u could run galla with acheron and lingsha with the herta . Skip robin , it's too late and new harmony will come out for new teams . U should then focus on ur the herta team and buying new supports or if they rerun jiaoqiu u can get him for acheron and have 2 good teams then eventually later on u will get an upgraded team over acheron
All 3 characters you mentions are good in their own ways. And you are a newbie, so I'm guessing the advice pick who you like doesn't work here
Short answer: The Herta > Lingsha > Robin
Long answer: You already have a dps as Acheron, but she doesn't do enough damage at the moment in end game contents if you don't invest in her signature lightcone + Jiaoqiu as support (Note: She's still excellent in clearing simulated universe). The Herta, on the other hand, is a great choice for new players. Her team is really cheap to maximize her damage, slap in an Erudition char like Serval/Herta (Note: their builds are usually full speed + Energy Recharge, or you can go damage build for Pure Fiction), Remembrance Trailblazer (free E6 in the future, really good support character in both damage and buff) and a shielder/healer. The Herta helps you sweep Simulated universe for more jades to pull + Pure Fiction in the long run. MoC and Apocolyptic Shadow may need some ice weak enemies, but she's good overall.
After you have Herta, you can consider pulling for Lingsha. She's a fantastic healer who can basically do anything in any team. You can also use her in The Herta team as she synergies really well with her AoE. She's one valuable character that you won't regret pulling.
Robin is still a top tier support, however, dps like Acheron or The Herta doesn't synergize well with her. If you pull her now, she will be pretty clunky to use until you pull for Feixao.

acheron is very good so youre setup very well for a while, but acheron needs investment long term in the form of teams. acheron and the herta are a similar type of unit (buffing based off their own path in teams, lore reasons) but herta is easier to build at the moment. best strategy would be to invest in a dps like herta now and invest in acheron longer long term, or go for lingsha to setup a different future/ current team

Great video! What would say is the recommendation between getting Jade or light cone/constellations for Herta? It seems like Heartas F2P teams are good enough, but I was almost hopping to find a reason to get Jade as I skipped her last time.
If you like Jade I think you can definitely pull her! Meta wise I think investing more into Herta (either constellation or light cone) will be more useful long term.
Really wouldn’t recommend Jade unless you just really want her. Rumor has it these potentially a better erudition partner coming for Herta later and Jade herself is already a bit niche. Vertical investment into Herta for now is what I would do personally.
Personally I would invest in lightcone/eidolons for Herta. Jade to The Herta is like Topaz to Feixiao. Both are not substantial enough to make a difference in clearing.
So if I can get e0s0 or e0s1 with her if I’m lucky is robin, aventurine and then normal herta a good team ?

I do actually struggle with survivability, as I only have Gallagher and Aventurine. So should I wait for the possibility of there being a better support for THerta, or go ahead and try to get Lingsha? I feel like Aven's shields won't help much if I'm going to keep action advancing THerta
With Aventurine I feel like it should be enough, but you can try playing first and see how it feels.

Eagle set (Effect hit rate body) + Lushaka. As many SPD as possible. LC Passkey 3* that grants Energy
DONT expect Serval to do any dmg
You wont be doing damage with Serval its just for Herta stacks

S1 now unless u can pull E2 now (u won't) , Huohuo might be her best support cause tribbie synergizes with her next patch but in 3.0 lingsha is her Bis . However there are a lot of options based on what u have stating from gallagher with QPQ . Why S1>E1 ? cause E1 is just a damage buff , sure it will be easier to pull for E2 later on but i think if u start saving after tribbie u will easily get her E2 on rerun and keep in mind The herta will be useful not only in MoC but also PF and AS so she has a lot of value considering she's also low invest at her entry lvl
I think 3.0, 3.1 characters are pretty skippable. 3,2, 3,3 is when the next tier of character powercreep will be
they are all pretty strong tbh. I would say castorice could be stronger, probably as strong as the herta, but at most 15% stronger. In the end it also all depends on type of content so hard to say tho

the only once who arent struggling now are whales with meta e2-6 characters.. Ofc f2p if they want to clear endgame content should pull THerta bc with 3.0 she will be the best dps that we will have in HSR bc of this infamous powercreep that everyone is sick already.
I've been f2p ever since console and I'm not struggling. I see plenty of f2p not struggling, and play non meta too.
Basically, if you think the only way to beat end game is with money or meta, hoyo tricked you. People prove this all the time. Seele literally has fastest clears in moc, minimal investment. Jingliu has great clear times this moc too according to stats, no money spent. Hell, my dot team with freaking Sampo beat moc12.
Gotta learn to vertically invest and play well if you are f2p and want to play non meta. It's not hard. But, if you want comfort? Oh sure. Pick up the new toy of the month and click auto battle, you won. Otherwise no, power creep can be handled with smart play. Hell, someone 4 cycled with freaking Dr ratio, no eidolons and only 1 sig on the group. It is what it is.
It's only a problem if you keep chasing the meta characters. That means you have build them which delays investing your older unit. But if you keep investing non-meta units, they will still clear just fine and last longer so you can skip newer units.
That is not to deny powercreep exist because it does but can be mitigated by player investing their units well.
Is E0S0 enough? She has a witch hat. That alone is enough.
