I've seen a lot of people asking what genre Savant was producing. I also witnessed a lot of his fans answering that it was Savantstep, because his way of producing and his arrangements are truly unique and not comparable to anything else. I do agree and after a long time of listening to his tracks I think I finally hear what's the main difference between him and any other artists : usually if you do not want your music to sound like a total mess you try to limit the number of instruments, you kinda put some boundaries and not go all out because if not the result just sounds like a musical Frankenstein monster. Savant doesn't fckin care about such concepts, about the implicit rules that allow producers to get clean results. He puts hundreds of different synths and basses into most tracks he makes, sometimes designing a synth only to use it once during 2 seconds in a 8 mins track and the most amazing thing is that nothing feels off. In my opinion, that's Savantstep. The art of making dubstep, going all out on sound design and variety, and getting clear results with no graspable flaws. I started listening to this genius about 7-8 years ago. I'm still blown away by most of the tracks he release. Savant, you're the one person that made me love music beyond anything else, while you were practicing your passion you also gave it to me. Music gives sense to my life when there isn't, it can be a reason to go forward, and for that, I'll never thank you enough.
