The noise you are hearing in the top end is lifter noise. This is what happens when lifters sit for too long and the oil comes out of them. If you let the motor idle until it gets to operating oil temps, the hydraulic lifters will pressurize and the noise will eventually fade away. A good way to avoid this is to submerge your lifters in fresh oil overnight, assemble the top end within a day or so and fire the motor up.

wow it knocks more than my Mtdi with 11mm pump on it, and believe me that bigger injection pump knock alot :P but it looks cool

they are called salad shooters, i just picked up some, you car needs a 5x100 swap to run them
