I enjoy any STD list that doesn't include Gary Stu - sorry, I mean Archaon - but I can't deny the raw respect I hold for anyone who paints a Skaven army, what a daunting task. So many models, so much flesh to paint, and additional warpstone effects on a lot of their models requires excellent use of blending and highlights. Both armies are beautifully represented here. Wonderful job to both of you. A Battle Report that's only twenty minutes long? Something tells me the Warp Lightning Cannons make this game a foregone conclusion somehow. And it seems I was wrong. Merciless Blizzard, of course, making an appearance here. I can't wait for that spell to go away, and I play Kharadron Overlords who have an easy time playing around it. Lovely battle. I'll rendezvous with you at the next battlefield. Greetings from America, by the way.
Thank you for all the feedback! We strive to get the most beautiful armies on the table, regardless of the rest. We're a small community but with a dense concentration of beautiful armies per square inch, so as someone who likes to do BRs, I'm taking advantage of that 😁 On the outcome itself, well I was playing STD and I quickly got to the conclusion that I had taken way too much damage already. The game wasn't over, but I would face a very steep hill until the end of round 5, so I dropped it. Glad you enjoyed it! 🩵
Why only 3VP for Skaven on turn 2? I count both objectives on the flanks + also surround and destroy with plaguemonks, ratling gun and any of the units on the below edge. Also a brief post-game comments would be very welcomed as the end of the video felt very sudden. Keep up the good work. Yours is one of the best channels to follow not very long battle reports :) Greeting from Spain!
Hi Alvaro! First of all muchas gracias for your comments. (we should meet sometime, as I'm based off Lisbon Portugal) :) The Skaven player chose the engineer, the grey seer and the plaguemonks for the Surround and Destroy BT, but didn't get the skitterleap and dreaded skitterleap off on the engineer. He basically chose the wrong units to try to accomplish the Battle Tactic. So he only scored the 1 objective, 2 or more objectives and more objectives than your opponent VPs. Note that the ratling gun wouldn't have been eligible since you have to choose units that are on the battlefield at the start of the hero phase, and it only came in at the end of the movement phase. I am keen on returning the end of game commentary back to the reports, but my issue has mostly been time...It's foreseen to return, for sure!
That’s a hard day at the office for the StD. Any reason the chosen didn’t charge turn 1 with run and charge? As they would have been attacked anyway by shooting.
Hi! Yes, the warpstone on those skaven weapons was high quality :) I didn't go in with the chosen because he had his screens up and his plague censor bearers high on buffs (which he could easily replicate again)...I figured if I didn't get the next turn, I would have been slapped pretty hard, both because of shooting (which was coming in turn 2) and melee. This way, I'd at least have the space to rally stuff back and prevent being charged by those plague censors. The Vortex kind of spiked also...
@@HammerofWar fair call I play a heap of std and I feel the light screen is a real pain which is why I’m thinking of getting some bliss bars archers as well
In the StD list, it shows all the heroes have warp reality spell, is this a bug in the list generator? I thought only Tzeench wizzards got warp reality
It is a bug in GW's app that allocates the spell to all wizards in a STD army (including uniques, by the way). Forgot to remove it, apologies. Please check the notes in the video :)
Hi, just ignore the warp reality spell from the roster. It's a bug in the GW app, that whenever it exports a StD list with wizards, considers that spell on all of them. Forgot to remove it from the list. Thanks!

Great format. Really slick production. Subbed. Love your work mate. Good choice of palette on those Theridons too. ❤
Thank you! Great to have you.

You can only manifest one great plague per turn. But otherwise a great battle report and production
You're right. Apologies. I would have conceded anyway with the first Great Plague + Merciless Blizzard, but you're absolutely right.
Thanks!❤

What kit are those Plague Monks from? They look different from older kit, or am I just bugging out?

How come your non Tzeentch wizards know Warp Reality? And how come your general know any other than Arcane Bolt/Mystic Shield spell?
