People are visiting this beautiful place during the Covid lockdown. It is rammed full of motorhomes. The worst thing is ,the selfish ,ignorant bastards are leaving mountains of rubbish behind. Why would anybody choose to spoil this wonderful, wild landscape?Unbelievable.Somebody even went to the trouble of dumping a large flat screen TV on the roadside near Capel Curig.
You are SO mistaken about so many things, I don't know where to start.... Primarily, our word 'Eryri' DOES NOT mean 'highands', nor does it come from the Latin! It means 'Eagle's Roost' or, more loosely, "Where Eagles Dwell" Our language is ancient, even by European standards and is much older than Latin.
Ihana Suloinen The north end of what? Do you remember from what hill you took the picture? Is that snow peak on the right Snowdon? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I've never seen a shot of Snowdonia like this before and would love to see it in person.
The north end of the park. I have travelled to about 30 countries since this hike so my memory is a bit blurry. I am not even sure if we are talking about the same photo. Send me a screenshot through FB.
I went up in horrible weather few weeks back! Need to do it again it's so good. Love the video! Check out my climb up Crib Goch in some horrible weather on my channel!

I was there in 1978. A wonderful piece of GB.

Thank you, I love Snowdonia
Love this! Had a horrible trek down yesterday in the rain. No ropes and ended up going back down the north ridge down a horrible cliff😂
Snowdonia is a big place. Try different trails after July for less rain

Good video, I'm moving to North Wales (Wrexham) next week and looking forward to seeing snowdonia!
You are lucky! :)
Ihana Suloinen thank you! I've subscribed to your channel, it's very informative and I've been flicking through the videos.. Awesome! 👍
I am very happy to hear that. :)
SnowDon in Wales; MitDon in Ossetian-Sarmatian-Scythian
Why so fast changing of photographs and text?
Where is the image at 2:26 from? I don't recognize it. Was the image distorted somehow?
The videos ends at 2:26. So what do you mean?
Ihana Suloinen Sorry, but it was 1:57 after the slide of y Lliwedd.
It was taken during a hike on the very north end. It was not distorted, just cropped to show the mountains and not the hiking trail.

The highest mountain in Wales is Yr Wyddfa...!Lol! ( Snowdon)
LOL! (no that loud)
No moi!
So few tree's. Reforestation would remove some of the desolation of the place.

I would love to go back. Just got back from Loch Ness and the Highlands!
