Can somebody just keep that Meryl Streep at home for at least the next 3-4 years and let the sweet Judi Dench win the Oscar this year. I went to the film today and she was such a delight to watch. A beautiful real-life movie.
I was in the next bed to a young girl who had given birth to a baby boy,on16/17 of June,1986.i listened to her cr😅my every night.i asked her if this was what she wanted, through her son's, she told me, her father who she lived with in the country side of Dublin, would not allow her home if she had her child,I watched as she signed the adoption papers, her hands shaking and her eyes puffed from the weeping she endured.she loved her child

This child was born in st, James hospital, around the 17th of June,1986 ,I'm sure it was a boy, Dublin,1986, if you are that child, please know your mother wanted you so badly, she would have done anything for you,her father was putting her out,if she refused to give you up, she did that, but I will tell you this, that young girl wanted to die, when those papers were signed, the pain she endured,was unimaginable, she loved you so much, and I never met her again, but remember, back then if you didn't have the support of your family, you had nothing,, especially nothing to give your child what he deserved, please if that date is your birthday, and you know or have the slightest feeling you were adopted, please try to find your mother.she was the most loving and caring young girl I have ever met in my entire life.her father was beyond strict,he was a bully,a heartless man, but your mother, she was a mother, the day you where in her arms, for the 20 seconds she was allowed, Dublin,st, James hospital was a maternity hospital at the time, but closed its doors on the year you were born, it's a basic hospital now,17 of june1986, if it's you, please remember, your mother was in so much pain for her plea to her so called father, she loved you more than you know, please,if you are this adult, please find her, they took you from your mum, she would have ran with you if she had somewhere to go,she had nothing, except the roof that bruth put over her head, but refused to put a roof over yours, she was so soft spoken, so afraid, she was lost, and I hope you will find her,I was right beside her, she was a mum without her baby,bless this lady, and may you reunite asap. You validated my childhood fears I was born there in 1951 and left in 1952 to Chicago and was visited by Bishop Lane on a monthly basis all through my grade school years. I am not ready to forgive the nuns or the Church since they still harbor pedophile priests and I have had clergy in my family so I don't come by this opinion lightly.

what a terrible film. poorly written, poorly acted, predictable, trite and smug. Dench is such a boring, one dimensional and predictable drudge. The same the same with Coogan, he has the range of soggy bread.

Brilliant movie. Perfection, really. Dench must get an Oscar for this film. Definitely a front-runner for many Oscars.
