I have all the ingredients. It would be such a shame not to make this!! Plus it looks ridiculously delicious 😋 Another awesome recipe you’re sharing with the world, thank you 🙏🥳
@@DeanaThai I never knew there was peanut butter in Viet beef-satay-noodle-soup. Do all recipes of that dish use peanut butter in broth? But, I do know (I think), peanut-butter is used in dipping sauce for Viet spring rolls or Thai/Malaysian/Indonesian bbq satay skewers.
Amazing! I had this dish at a local vietnamese restaurant and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else or find a good recipe until now! So excited to try this.
Hi, just wanted to let you know I followed your recipe and it came out so delicious. My entire family (2 older brothers, my mom/dad, and my sister) said it was delicious. The entire pot is consumed :) Thank you so much for this recipe. My next cooking journey is to make your hieu tieu 🤤
Oh my goodness! ❤ Thank you so much for the feedback 😊! I'm so happy that your entire immediately family love this dish! It is so good to hear and I can't believe there's no leftovers! What a compliment! Thank you again for trying my recipe!
Sorry just a quick correction. Southern Vietnam does not have a place called Trieu Chau. Teochew (the Chinese translation) is a migratory people from northeastern Guangdong province (in China). Some of the teochew people (like my grandparents) settled in Southern Vietnam and brought the dish with them, while mixing the ingredients with local flavors. With that said, your dish does look delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! And for sharing your story. It reminded me that I need to ask my dad which part of China my great grandfather came from. I know that his family settled in Vietnam and my dad hasn't said much.
It is pretty much unfair to compare this dish to pretty much any other one on the planet, because this will completely nuke anything else out there into dust!!! Good Night Now!!! It is just that good! OMG!!!
Anything that can be done in an IP can be done on the stovetop. Just takes additional cook time. For Pork bones it's 20 more minutes to get the flavor out on the stovetop.

Is there anything I can substitute if I don’t want to use chicken bouillon?
Mushroom bouillon or you can just use 2-3 tbsp salt.
