hi kate!! I started this pretty dress yesterday but I’m struggling with the chest piece (starting around 6:20). when I do the 2sc in one stitch + skip one, each row gets wider as if I’m increasing. do you have any idea what I can do to fix this?
@@weens.. hi! You can make extra stitches at the beginning or at the end of the row. To check yourself, count how many stitches you made in the very first row, the same number of rows you should have at the waist. And the same number of stitches you should have in each row. Count only the single crochet 🫶🏻
I had the same issue so instead of doing 3 single crochets per row i did 2.
You can also try chaining 3 instead of doing a stacked single crochet
