How to Kill the ONLY Kill-able Child in Fable TLC/Anniversary!! (& His Granny Too!!!!)

- This is just a quick little video I decided to make showing how to kill the ONLY (as far as I know) kill-able child in the game. Most children in the game appear either in areas where weapons are forbidden, or have some sort of dialogue that opens, and just doesn't let you kill them. Well there is one point in the game where you can kill a child, and it is during the Hobbe Cave quest.
This is something I do in almost every play through of the game and it almost never occurred to me how unique this in-game opportunity is, as the developers seem to have almost gone out of their way to make sure you can not murder any children; and yet this instance seems to have slipped past them :)
Obviously I don't condone killing kids, but it is an interesting little feature in Fable TLC.
Also usually at this point in the game it is quite difficult to kill the kid, since you are not usually maxed out in ranged/melee strength. As you can see even with the strongest (single handed) sword in the game it takes a few hits of 329 damage to kill the kid, so I imagine he has over 1000 health. This is why I suggest slow time, and archery, as usually the kid will get halfway out of the area before you manage to kill him, and chasing him down with a sword usually doesn't work too well, whereas using the bow will make it much easier to hit him as he runs away from you.

Idk about Knothole Glade kid, I will definitely have to look into that one. Somehow I can't quite picture this kid; is he only there during a quest or is he always at the village?

Lol if I myself was any good at combat multipliers I totally would, but I can't seem to get anywhere beyond like 30. I heard in the non Lost Chapters version the combat multiplier system was a lot easier. I hear though, that if you charge your bow for like a minute or two and shoot an enemy (preferably the moss giant next to the combat multiplier demon door) you will get an instant like 25-30 multiplier from the charged shot.

There's never a game where you can kill a child. There must be some law protecting this. Even in GTA this was never done.

Actually, there's TWO killable children in Fable. One in this quest and the other in Knothole Glade when the chief asks you to rescue his son that was kidnapped by the Assassins

There is a cheating tool that you can do to one-hit kill all npcs, including kids. That is the only way that I have found to buy all of the houses in Bowerstone too, since they won't come up for sale with the kids still alive

I actually tried the bowerstone thing before, and was pissed to find that the houses didn't go up for sale after killing everyone. I had a feeling it had to do with the kids.

Bro I'm pretty sure you can kill evrything with upgraded fieball and not even get bad points if you shoot in right palce only wave of explosion kill everything. I used that only if I wanted to have exact home for myself.... Or maybe whole Villages : )

What about the Ransom Victim quest where you can choose to save the son Knothole Glade’s chief or deliver him to the older brother who plans to kill him? Does that count!
Arguable, but also I think he dissapears after the quest is over so you aren't able to kill him without failing the quest and having to re load
so technically you can kill him, but you don't get to keep playing after killing him
I remember that the granny give to you a screw or a screwdriver, i always wondered what that thing need to be used for? Do you know?

If you do the silver exploit too many times your save will get corrupted so make a backup save
I usually try to limit myself to 5, and find as many of the rest as I can
Enough to make up for the one that I usually don't get before it's too late, and for ones that I'm too lazy to get (like the fisher creek one)

PlokTheMasterGamer that was the only time my save got corrupt d because I did the xp hero save many time and elixir of life/Will master potion but never faced any problems
It is a pity that only the original Fable has unlimited hero saves and exploits. I must have hero saved 2-3 times in every single quest. But, in TLC, I never hero saved more than 8 times total in the whole game.
I've done this many, many times...without really thinking about it being a kid. I guess I just assumed it was a demon/unique enemy...damn it man, why'd you do this to us?

@@PTMG Everytime I get caught trying to remember if I can buy the house or not and if so how much did it cost. That's in my mind as I mash thru the dialogue with Granny (I thought she was a witch up until now), slow time and rescue the "kid", and return quick AF. By then I still don't know what the price range is or if there even is one, panic, and kill them both.

This quest is the only opportunity you get to even enter the house, as the door is non destructible and is locked shut before and after the quest

@@PTMG Yeah he is an ungrateful idiot but for me killing children is a taboo even in artificial space. That kind of possibility first struck me in Fallout 2 I accidentally shoot a child in a combat sequence and I completely erased that safe file and started up again.
And that was me before being an actual father now it is even bigger sin for me.

As far as I know they can't be killed
I think they can be lured away though which would allow you to buy the properties
Someone explained it in the comments a while ago how to kill everyone (except the kids) in bowerstone and buy all the houses

IF you have the original TLC you can go to bowerstone north and bug out one of the houses if you sit there for a awhile killing guards and owners.. eventually if the kids are in the house they will be targetable and you punch them to death... was a sweet bug.. I used to have fun on my evil characters.. shame they never let you kill kids in any of the games.. you can kill anything but a child.... without mods or bugs.. its fucking pathetic.... all because some people would be offended... should have just been an option to toggle off and on... like how WWII games recently will let you disable the Nazi emblem... for people who cant stand too look at a fucking symbol.. they give power to the symbol... by letting it affect them..
