In the first few episodes, I remember, Peggy wasn't so lazy & actually cooked a little & did the laundry. When season 2 came, they kept making her more and more useless.

This may be comedy but it's also a lesson about what happens when you associate with the wrong people. Marcy was very respective of Steve's possessions until Peg convinced her to act differently. This usually ends in disaster.

I won't lie, I really hated Peg and Marcy in this scene.

I watched this every week when it was on and I still can't figure out why a man would stay married to a useless person like Pig I mean peg .
