    Does this builder base make your nail stronger like when you have gel on? Could I use it even as a top coat on top of my color at the end? Thank you for your help 😊

    • @naq57
      @naq57  3 года назад +2

      builder gel is meant to be use as a base (an overlay on natural nails), or to extend the natural nail, then color is applied over it, then finished with a top coat. that way when you remove the color the builder gel will remain on the nail and all you have to do is fill in the growth, rebalance and start with a new color. TFW!

    • @naq57

      thanks Amy! and oh no you do not! if you use regular polish, use polish remover instead of pure acetone to keep the builder gel from getting weak over time. if you use gel polish over the builder gel just file it off gently. With time your builder gel will need to be infill tho. good luck with it and tfw!

    Ive been trying to use buildergel on my naturel nail as a protecting layer but whenever i use cure it for awhile it still doesnt seem to cure it properly. Nail would be patchy after wiping it down. Any tips on how to fix this? Do i need a better uvlamp?

    • @naq57
      @naq57  3 года назад

      Hi Kayan, first be sure to be using the appropriate light source for your gel, UV or LED. Not all gels cure under LED. Minimum wattage of the lamp should be 36W to cure for 30 - 60 seconds depending on the gel ( hard or soft). When cured it will always have a sticky layer. Wipe with alcohol, buff to perfection then finish with a clear gel top coat. I hope this helps, TFW!

    • @naq57
      @naq57  2 года назад

      Some lamps have a setting to lower the wattage to half and core for longer. If yours doesn't have it, try applying less product at one time but do more layering to structure properly. The burning sensation is not comfortable but not harmful either. TFW
