I just ordered these ... do you think Saddlemen tactical luggage will also still fit on the back of the bike, on top of the saddlebags? The one I want is molded to fit right on top of the back seat as a kind of peg - will these saddlebags stop something like the Saddlemen tactical cruiser tail bag from fitting properly, you think? Or would the saddlebags compliment something smaller like the Saddlemen Tactical roll bag? Just curious if you or anyone else reading this may happen to know. I'm planning for my first long distance ride on my 2018 Indian scout bobber. excited and anxious as ill be gone for 3 weeks and 2500+ miles (tucson to houston)

It will most likely work as long as it has a flat bottom. I have a Viking tail bag that can sit on top, but I find sometimes you have to get creative for different setups and straps than the instructions intended that come with the bag. It should be fine if it hangs over the saddle bags too. You have about 6” of play on each side before you touch the zipper opening. I hope that helps!

Is that the stock Indian passenger seat and if so, where did you find it in black in stock?
Yeah it’s the OEM one from Indian’s site. I had the same problem last year, but I had them E-mail me when another batch was ready and snatched it up when it was back in stock.

They’re Kuryakyn Xcursion bags. I got them from Dennis Kirk.
Doesn't the right side bag hit the rear rotor? I had that problem... Going to be trying universal bag mount standoffs.
I had that happen once, but I adjusted them up tight and haven’t had any problems since. Let me know if using the mounts works better!
