That came out really good, I am impressed.
They seem to have very thin tanks.There is a video on YT where a guy is test riding one and falls over and it put a hole in it with petrol just leaking everywhere .I do not know if all models are like that but it is making me think twice, I was really thinking about getting one
That sucks if they are. You can always throw crash bars on to avoid. I think turning the mirrors down is a major culprit. super fun bike though!

Thanks man. The bronze Scout has Vance & Hines Twin Slash slip-ons, and the sagebrush Scout has Crushers slip-ons.
Doesn't the right side bag hit the rear rotor? I had that problem... Going to be trying universal bag mount standoffs.
I had that happen once, but I adjusted them up tight and haven’t had any problems since. Let me know if using the mounts works better!

I just ordered these ... do you think Saddlemen tactical luggage will also still fit on the back of the bike, on top of the saddlebags? The one I want is molded to fit right on top of the back seat as a kind of peg - will these saddlebags stop something like the Saddlemen tactical cruiser tail bag from fitting properly, you think? Or would the saddlebags compliment something smaller like the Saddlemen Tactical roll bag? Just curious if you or anyone else reading this may happen to know. I'm planning for my first long distance ride on my 2018 Indian scout bobber. excited and anxious as ill be gone for 3 weeks and 2500+ miles (tucson to houston) Thank you!
It will most likely work as long as it has a flat bottom. I have a Viking tail bag that can sit on top, but I find sometimes you have to get creative for different setups and straps than the instructions intended that come with the bag. It should be fine if it hangs over the saddle bags too. You have about 6” of play on each side before you touch the zipper opening. I hope that helps! That sounds like a great trip. I washed it with a power washer and used muc off products on it all riding season and had no problems. I just use more caution around the pointer areas but haven’t had any problems yet 👍
What color did you order the only white they have is glossy white but yours just looks like it’s regular white

@@bamelby so are you going to move your mirrors back to the original spot ? I’m planning to get different bars in the spring so my mirrors will be in a different spot then but I was worried about the tank denting
@@mrmurphy8609 As long as you move them over it shouldn’t matter too much. I think mine came from dropping it once. I’ve thought about different mirrors, but nothing really made me want to spend money on them. What bars you going with?
@@bamelby Ive heard the Indian made parts are getting hard to find. So leaning towards Dean Speed 10 inch at the max.the bar ends need to come up more to be comfortable for me but dont want to get to crazy on the apes

Yeah it’s the OEM one from Indian’s site. I had the same problem last year, but I had them E-mail me when another batch was ready and snatched it up when it was back in stock.

Thanks man! We used an Insta360 OneX2 and GoPro Hero 8 Black.
First half of the video is riding and stopping at checkpoints to see the bikes. Second half is more riding the rest of the route. 🤙
