GOCOVRI® (amantadine) extended-release capsules is a prescription medicine used:
• for the treatment of dyskinesia (sudden uncontrolled movements) in people with Parkinson’s disease who are treated with levodopa therapy or levodopa therapy with other medicines that increase the effects of dopamine in the brain.
• and also, with levodopa and carbidopa in people with Parkinson’s disease who are having “off” episodes.
It is not known if GOCOVRI is safe and effective in children.

The only way we can say goodbye to Parkinson’s disease is intervening before side effects show up, but unfortunately people know there’s something wrong once they lose between 60-80% of their dopamine cells 😔. At the same time we aren’t use if Alpha Synuclei is the root cause of Parkinson’s Disease or Genetics which is unfortunate.
