As a drake and kendrick fan i still 100% believe drake won the battle.
I’m also a huge battle rap fan so i judge based on bars and lyricism. When listening to both their tracks, i think its clear who had the better pen. Drake had heavier bars, longer rhyme schemes, and was obviously writing in real time with all the rebuttals. Now obviously kendrick feels victorious and we all know he won by public perception, but i bet that drake walks away from this saying “he cant rap with me” and i cant say hes wrong with that and thats such an L for Kendrick especially as the lyricist. At the end of the day to me a rap battle is always a battle of lyrical wit and drake won that.
Also by far the biggest mistake of the battle is making and entire verse to a daughter that doesn’t exist.

Also, Euphoria and 6:16 is the best rap performance in this battle.

Bars were better from Kendrick by far especially after Drakes Heart part 6. if you go back and read his lyrics, hes just defending himself from accusations and sounded worse than before. Drakes whole angle in every battle is “I fucked this girl, you had this girl after” Man is 40 still engaging in teenage dynamics when it comes to women. Kendrick exposed that Drake has no identity and the person he started out in his career into a soft guy looking for love which has regressed into a wannabe mob boss and culture vulture whose ghost writers have turned against him.
