That's ironic because Leonard and Penny weren't living together even after they got engaged because Sheldon threw tantrums about it. In fact they didn't start living together until season 10,after getting married twice.
There unfortunately will be some arguments though, because when certain people don't get what they want they quite often lash out and get defensive, which usually results in arguments. 😅 Not saying this happens with everyone, but it happens with some people. 😅
I have a contract with my teen. In regards to the house rules, and consequences of her behavior. I also have clauses in there for her. That I will not read her diary, or other personal items. I will not violate her privacy unless she give me just reasons to do so, and I have the reasons listed. It has helped us a lot. She is on the spectrum and having everything in writing has been helpful.
And later Penny does the same thing! Moves his stuff out just because she does not like it right under his nose. To be fair that was after they were married I think. Still it is wrong in my opinion.
Finally, a post that showed how Penny would know if Stephanie was living there. I've never caught it before & for some inexplicable reason, I've never come across your vid. TY!

The pothole a lot of people sleep on. When leonard wanted to take penny to Switzerland for valentine's day and sheldon says there isn't any girlfriend related clayses due to high improbability. Also, he couldn't have been lying since he doesn't have the constitution to.
Considering that three weeks is 21 days, the 10 consecutive nights would kick in beforehand. All the weekends in a month plus three weeknights is the clause that is probably covered by the 9 nights in 3 weeks.
Robert Underwood no, the 9 nights in 3 weeks also covers the 10 consecutive nights clause. Think about it, in order to get to 10 consecutive nights you must first have reached 9 consecutive nights. In which case you will have had 9 nights in a 21 day period (you’ve stayed 9 nights out of 9 so it’s well within the 21 day limit). This is assuming the three week period is a window that can be set anywhere, most sensibly at the start of the consecutive nights.
Larry Berry in order to breach 10 consecutive nights you must be there 9 nights in a 3 week period. In no situation can you breach rhetoric 10 consecutive nights clause without first breaking the 9 nights in a 3 week period clause. Hence the 9 nights in a 3 week period clause negates the 10 consecutive nights clause.
@@TheGameZone12344 I was looking for this comment, about to make it myself. It occurred to me too, there's no way she could achieve the 10 consecutive nights clause without first achieving the 9 nights in a 3 week period clause. I'm surprised the show didn't catch this when writing the script.

Why the ten consecutive nights? The nine nights in a three week period would activate the clause BEFORE the ten night clause so it just seems redundant and would never be applied.
Swirling Vortex of Entropy because once she’s spent nine consecutive nights, it would already be nine nights in a three week period. There’s no way it can be ten consecutive nights without meeting the threshold of nine nights in three weeks. I know it’s nitpicking, but Sheldon would know this, and what até comment sections for if not nitpicking? ;)
The nine nights in a three week period is for when the ten consecutive nights don't happen. For example, say she only spends three days a week at the apartment. Three days over a three week period is nine, thus qualifying under the nine nights in three weeks condition, but not the ten consecutive days condition.
@@Lycan4 I know this is a late answer, but you missed the point. The problem doesn't lie in the 9 night clause, but the 10. It is impossible to reach clause without having reached the 9th one first, hence the first clause is totally redundant and should be omitted.
@@Bronzescorpion sorry for the late answer but it's _more_ than 9 nights in a 3 week period. while it still rends the first rule useless they are at least equivalent in the first case. the rule was probably put there as an afterthought so that Leonard couldn't live with his girlfriend for 9 days, send her home for one night and then start again and - god forbid - screw the roommate agreement.
Muhammad Amir Mohamad Kamal sheldon and her got in an argument about string theory and Leonard said he thought string theory offered more answers then hers, and she got pissed
It was shortly after this scene. It was actually up to a lot of debate at the time IF they broke up. Leonard didn't want to live together and kept trying to pull back on their relationship getting too serious too soon. Every time he started to bring it up, they had sex. He finally texted her and after he did said "Well I'm never getting sex again" followed by a message back from her and he said "Welp, I was wrong" and he darted off, obviously to go have sex with her. She was never seen after that. This was confusing to many people since saying you don't want to move in together or move forward in the relationship too fast does not guarantee the girl will break up with you. Sure it could happen, but they never said that it did. Just that he didn't want to live with her and next thing you know they are broken up with no real reason given. Other than they still had sex together again, one last time.
Right why is it that when some also divide to move in together she's automatically is like your stuff has to go and Leonard she as hell got bamboozled lol.
Not necessarily. "More than 9 nights in a three week period." 3 weeks is a total of 21 days. Girl could have stayed over 4 days, gone back to her place for 6, stayed over again for 3, gone back for 4, stayed over 3. She's thus stayed over more than 9 days without staying over 10 consecutive days.
@@ReallyKeepingFictional Well, I meant that if you stayed for 10 consecutive nights, you've also stayed more than 9 nights in a 3 week period. So it just becomes a more extreme subset.
