@dajervyjerv thank you, in the movie Beat Street. Lee aka Rocky lived up the street from my building. There's a scene, in a abandoned building. I was invited to that party by a homeroom classmate. He has a blue lumberjack jacket on, i couldn't make it to that scene due that I had to travel out of state with my parents. Scene from the Puerto Rico theater was around my neighborhood. That was back in 1984. Those where the good old days of hip hop.
@ralphrivera4819 wow that’s so dope! Just you being in that time and place must’ve been hella dope! Experiencing the Breakin culture born and grow! And Beat Street! Man you were near the legends and the pioneers! 🙏🙏🤜
@dajervyjerv yes sir, I remember those days like yesterday. My grandsons wanted to battle me at my 2nd oldest daughter's wedding. My sister and her son where you don't want to battle your grandfather. I did a few pop locking moves and a little bit of floor rocking, just to let him know grandpa still got it. My grandsons an my granddaughters ask me, how was it in those day. It was awesome, we didn't have internet, we had music and dancing and graffiti. Now at age 57 I see, breaking is still alive and it made it to the Olympics, that is awesome. I can say it proud. I was part of that movement back in the early 80s,it's still go8ng strong to this day, all over the world. You mix music, takes me back know to those days. Thank you for doing what you are doing, you have a life time fan till God above takes me home. Many blessing🙏
@@ralphrivera4819 That's awesome! OG still has the moves! Showing your family that you still have it is awesome. If I didn't know anything about breaking and I saw a family member do some moves - that would make me want to learn. Telling your family how the culture was before makes people appreciate and respect the elders, the culture, and way of living! Hearing the OGs talk makes me appreciate the art and what I do even more. You should be proud and thank you for moving the culture forward in your own way! and thank you - you're awesome and I'll make sure keep that original flava alive! God bless! 🙏
Wake up babe, new Jervy Jerv mix just dropped 🤌🔥
