Love your drop-shot video's with the graph footage, that is awesome!!!! I like the cool new trolling motor set-up and notice you use golf club tape on your rigs, show it off to us on your next video, Thanks for sharing and stay safe...
Im glad you like the video man, and yeah I do tape up most of my rods, I will try to remember and show you guys what I use on the next video. Thanks for watching
I really enjoy and learn a lot from your videos and I've been fishing for 30+ years. I live in middle Tennessee and it's nice having someone that's fishing Tennessee waters as well giving instructional videos.. I just wish you would let a few of the people that have subscribed to your channel tp have an opportunity to come to your lake or lake of your choice to fish with you.. that would be awesome!! Thanks again and great video!
Had the same issue yesterday on Lake Chickamauga. This season had been maddening! Finally caught a few schooling and got a couple to commit on an underspin with small K-tech
Looks like you got that self deployment trolling motor, I just back in the water, let the boat drift off, step out of truck and deploy the motor, steer it out of traffic, hit spot lock. After parking the truck, I bring boat to the dock and step in. The look on boaters face tells it all. Did you get networked with two hummingbirds ?? Even if you network them to the rear transducer, you can switch 2D on the bow to the front trolling motor transducer. KY
Yeah I got that trolling motor a couple months ago and it is awesome. I havent got the networking done yet because I decided I needed a new trolling motor first but im still planning on adding another unit or two to my boat and networking them hopefully soon.
Love them Georgia spots, they fight like a dang river smallie. Went to Lanier last May and we caught 50 to 60 a day and they all felt like they were 5 pounds. I really wished the spots on Cherokee would get thick like they are down that way. They're getting there but seems on Cherokee you'll have a year where you catch a lot of spots and then next year you won't see many. Great video!
I used both a 3/8 oz and a 1/4 oz, the slower rate of fall was important that day to get those fish to eat that drop shot. Most of the time I use a 3/8 and just feather it if i need to slow it down as the line comes off the spool but if I notice that they for sure want it falling slower then at that point i put the lighter weight on.

I really enjoy going to some of those spotted bass lakes near us, and your right pound for pound they pull like a smallmouth if not better.
Great video I'm going up their in January for a kayak tournament what would you recommend on throwing around that time is at the end of January
What’s the best bait for fall time on Douglas lake?
How heavy is that drop weight?
