  • Hey friends!
I thought today would be a good chance for a catch up on my experiences with my own mental illness. In this video I discuss my psychologist, my GP (General Practition Doctor), my psychiatrist and how I met Yelka in hospital. I also talk about my history with medications and TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and how these treatments have helped me get to where I am today! I am incredibly lucky to have an abundance of wonderful people in my life who have been supporting me the whole way!
It's my sixth year participating in Liptember. This year, I'm honouring my friend Yelka, who I met last year while in hospital for my mental illness. She was a great friend and support to me, and so many others. Since her passing earlier this year I wanted to do Liptember in her name.

Thanks so much for talking about this! I’ve been on medication for over ten years, and honestly now just finding a medication that has worked for me. It’s such a struggle. But now I’m ready to end my one year treatment of Cymbalta and my depression and anxiety is overall better, but still needing some work. Great video, keep it up 💗
