- Alaska Airlines is one of the Major American based Airlines, Headquartered at Seattle Tacoma, Washington. The airline was founded in 1932 as McGee Airways and was initially founded to connect the tiny towns in Bristol Bay and Anchorage, Alaska. With 128 destinations spread across the majority of the United States the airline operates a fleet consisting of E175s (83), B737-700s (11), B737-800s (59), B737-900s (91), B737 MAX 8 (1), B737 MAX 9s (65).

Looking forward to this one! Remember flying Alaska from Las Vegas to Seattle back in 2017. Defs one of my better US domestic flight experiences. Seattle to Portland though that’s crazy though probably less than 300km so interested to see what the dubiously named US domestic “first class” experience is like especially on such a short flight!

Why was there no in-flight service?
Funny how they call that first class not business 😅
You can drive from Seattle to Portland in under 3 hours, why waste all that time with airport security, waiting, boarding etc.
