Used your vid tutorial to replace our control switch on a 2011 Liberty KK. Worked like a charm... other than the fact that one of the torx screws simply wouldn't cooperate, so I did what I had to do to get it off. :) Thanks for uploading this. It was super helpful!
Just want to mention to anyone if you're ever playing working on the steering column after diagnosing things on your wheel, should disconnect the battery so your airbags don't punch you in the face.
Hey! I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty, when I turn my right turn signal doesn’t stay engaged and clicks off - unless I hold it then it stays on. My left one is fine! Would replacing the multifunction switch work? Thanks!
I reckon it would!!! Super easy…just make sure to see if your Jeep has fog lights and automatic headlamps…there’s like 3 different switches depending on options…Good luck and thanks for watching!!!
With everything on the Jeep that wasn’t working…the only common part was the multifunction switch. I was also guided by experience of similar issues with other vehicles I’ve worked on in the past.
Shoot…there’s like 4 or 5 different part numbers for the switch depending on your options…I wonder if you got the correct one for your application…I’m no expert but I’d start there
Hey, Alyssa. I know I'm late to the party, but I'll echo what Wolfpack Garage said... probably got the wrong part. We also have auto headlights and fog. When I went to Auto Zone to ask for the part, they gave me about a dozen options--some with all the features, some without. I opted for all the same stuff that was on the previous control switch. Works like a charm. Did you ever get it fixed? Did you get the auto headlights to work?

😊 great job!!!
I've got a 2013 Charger and a 2008 Liberty. I wish it was this easy and inexpensive to change on the charger as it is for the Liberty.
It’s all just nuts and bolts…some more than others…thanks for tuning in!!!

I have same issue on my commander did you fix the issue?
@@stevenmcc2119 I also have the same problem, but it is on the 08 Liberty like the one in the video. Must be a common issue on the jeeps
How did you come to the conclusion that it was the multifunctional switch? Just wondering

I have a problem with the fog lights when I put right turn light the fog lights just turn off. Do you think i need to replace the same thing??
Perhaps…give it a try
Jeep Patriot was doing the same thing change the switches still does the same thing
Idk on that one…there’s like a million different switch part numbers depending on options and build date…you’ll figure it out eventually, good luck!
On my 2008 jeep liberty the wipers, locks , horn just turns on like it’s possessed, is that because of the multi switch?
PROBABLY
So I just did this with my jeep and the new switch doesn’t have an automatic headlight option. Only the fog lights and brights work 😩 any suggestions?
