EP 31 - Split Cane Fly Rod, A Short and Boring Video

This video was a test to see if I liked the quality of 1080p 30 and the result is that I don't. I'll be going back to 1080p 60.
Sadly I didn't fish long because my foot wasn't good and hasn't been behaving itself for 3 to 4 weeks now.

Hope your foot gets better soon. There's nowt wrong with that reel. They were used for years with noisy ratchets like that and people caught. I have several that make worse noises than that.

Thanks. I have appointment on Thursday. I should be better then, but I'll probably be back to being in pain next week.... The reel is a Hardy Gem and love it. I think I only like it because of the sound it makes🤣

@@daelpixphotographyOne of Hardy's many attempts at a cheap reel. Perfectly functional and, as you say, makes a nice noise.
