Hey guys. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Usually you can’t apply a two part epoxy primer over antifouling. You usually have to remove the coatings then apply epoxy primer over gelcoat or an old epoxy coating.
Applying epoxy primer over antifoul can cause the primer and new antifoul to basically fall off.
Hopefully what you applied was a primer made to go over old antifoul coatings.

I absolutely love you two… you tackle every project and have the skill to accomplish each and every one. The boat really will look good after this major overhaul and the barrier layer is essential to protect the hull. Having time to record your progress is awesome - I have refurbished many boats in my time and you are doing a great job. ❤

Great video, good to see escapade getting some love. Not sure I’d be happy with foam core in the underbody, I’d like to see more glass in that location but I’m sure the experts can advise. Lulu is definately the star of the show and obviously thinks you spend too much time infront of the camera 😂 seeing Jason after sanding has confirmed to me that someone else can do the underbody sanding on my boat. Great video xx

Goodbye generator. Hello, space. You can always get a portable later. You're getting her put back in shape. Your cats crack me up. Just running around the boatyard like dogs. Very cute. See you next week.

😀😀👍👍👍❤❤ Looks like Lulu has some "dog" in her! That folding prop should make a big difference especially on longer passages.

"Inaudible Caribbean accent" was " bias" this refers to double bias fibreglass cloth i.e. cloth with fibres aligned at + and - 45⁰ to the warp direction and 90⁰ to each othe. Its a standard material

An Alternator for charging is 4x better/faster than a generator (when you have LiFePO4 batteries)!!! LiFePO4 Batteries can absorb all the DC your Alternator puts out (50% of their capacity at once). Lead-Acid Batteries can only charge at a rate of 10% of capacity. A generator puts out AC that needs to be converted to DC at a loss of amps and is limited to the size/output of your inverter/charger.

Yessss for sure, We’re planning to buy this as soon as we can afford it. Will be a very handy piece of kit. Which one do you think is better Belmar or Arco Marine?

I am surprised you have to get rid of your Paguro diesel genny. I have a 5KVA one and it is brilliant. I had to fit a cheap fuel lift pump to assist the fuel priming and now it starts immediately. What was wrong with yours?

Hey you two. I have a smart generator that we can set to whatever desired low and high charge. Runs on gas or Propane.
So if the solar can't keep up for whatever reason, the generator will charge up the batteries all by itself. Just sayin

We’re wanting to get one of those smart alternators, one brand Is called Arco. But it charges your batteries off the engine. So you can just run your engine for like the last 30-60 minutes of your passage and charge your batteries up. Just gotta wait til we can afford it as it’s about $2000 😆

I bet those safety suit are extremely hot to wear even when temps are like 22C as these suit don't allow air to flow through. Maybe it's something you should work on invent an air conditioned suit
