Hey guys! We couldn’t finish yesterday’s episode on time, so today we’re making it up to you with not one but TWO episodes! Day 22 is out now and Day 23 will be released later today. We’re so grateful for your patience and hope this double treat makes up for the wait. Thank you for being part of this journey with us! We love sharing it with you! 💙
😭 ohhh my god i pray that you went well and did not have accident carefree #cookingbooks #bass #goodtimes #timeshifting #timecop #gaytimes #getmeouttajail #ricardomilos.
We all get it. So much work. But you two are doing a great job. And so are all the people helping you. I am proud of you two for having the shipyard crew on your boat. They are awesome dude. They taught you guys how to do so much. They didn't need to do so but they did. I would love to meet them in person one day to tell them they are awesome people and awesome shipwrights.
Don’t break your spine you 2. Not that you get too tired and make accidents. Take your breath and safety first, even the video come a little later. I enjoy your daily videos, even I know it’s a lot of stress on all of you. ❤❤❤
@@brian.7966yes they are working very hard for there end game but this is sound advice they need a vent and overflow for there water tank why would you say they don't
I noticed one thing, i would recommend for you to do. Love the Videos by the way. Double hose claps,on all water, and other fittings. I know there’re Stainless,BUT it wont last. I’ve been boating for 58 years. Believe me i know. Make sure your bilge pump has an Alarm on it. Been watching you guys for a couple of years,so much fun.
I was thinking the same thing watching. Overkill on the clamps, doubling up, would be paramount imo. A serious leak down there probably make for a terrible day aboard Yaba'. A leak alert would be a great feature to add. hmm MP.
I don't usually comment but you guys are killing it. This is one thing I've noticed after watching your channel is that you are both relentless. Huge respect. Amazing work. Thanks for sharing!
Your daily videos have added joy and pleasure to my holiday season. Thank you for giving so many of us a great Christmas gift. Your boat looks great. Wishing you a joyous holiday season and many happy sailing miles ahead.
Best expression of my life of ......... "No Complaining, Let's do it" by MP, I mean the way you said it. One to stay with me till the end. You have given a new light of hope. Love you guys "Mum, Dad, Uncle, Ben and MP"
Yaba is the embodiment of the great craftsmanship of the people of Brazil. I thoroughly enjoy every video you post. The care all of these people put into their work is amazing.
In a perfect system the water tanks really want a breather in each one to allow it to fill 100%. The breather would be separate from the fill tube and can be much smaller! You can tie it back into the fill hose at the top like a vent on a gas tank. Congrats on all the hard work!
Those 'door' animals are going to look fantastic, great idea. Some things I thought of - I liked the way the Davit guys all wore their company teeshirts: I would have thought that the deck would have tung oil type finish, the varnish will weather very quickly; the way the water tanks are plumbed will work fine, thanks to the snack and coffee. Can't wait to see the Christmas party and all the carpenters.
G'day Crew,, So cool to see all the new work on YABA, and wow, isn't she looking a treat now . Having a new vid every day is perfect. Thanks so much guys for all the hard work needed to put it all together. See you tomorrow. Respect..!
I could be wrong, but the reason I use an anchor bridle (1964 ChrisCraft Constellation, 46ft/14m) has nothing to do with the boat spinning around the anchor. Rather, it has everything to do with taking all of the strain from the rode off the windlass and distributing that force across multiple cleats
Hey Ben & M&P , I am so happy for you guys that you're getting your debits for your dinghy so you can lift up your dinghy and put it on your swim platform. Congratulations you guys I'm so happy for you
Whew, Im glad you missed yesterday's vid due to running out of time. I was worried there had been an accident or something, MP the door cut outs look amazing and cant wait to see them on the doors. The davit will change your lives and make things so much easier for you, and it looks good too. Great vid and too much to comment on except to say well done!
The most important thing is that your sailing equipment is save ,reliable and checked out very well by experts. So I hope your masts and rigging are save in any storm.
Great episode, I’m not sure I would choose the octopus for a toilet door. The only issue about a rope on the spare anchor could be coral or sharp reef cutting the rope.
FELIZ NATAL Ben & MP fijne kerst samen. i hope christmas day on Yabá will be unforgettable. thank you guys for the past years great video's. after watching for 2 years in China and for a while now in Brasil i still enjoy it. Even during my sail overs from China to Mauritius and from there with another ship later to Brasil I could follow every episode. great work guys. Warm regards, René
I'm loving the davit! It makes your boat look like a vintage classic that's been modernized in a careful aesthetic way. Stainless steel is beautiful. Odd's davit was another work of art. It's going to be so nice to not have to haul up that outboard motor by hand! I dropped one once in a reservoir in Colorado that was 85 m deep! Oops Also your davit is going to be really helpful with that amazing dive platform for moving equipment around and all things exploration. Loving this new edition!! 😊
Ben, just to be safe see if you can get a piece of thin brass to make some labels to mark your fill holes to fit into the floor boards at least mark the water tank as you don’t want someone filling it with diesel! You may even find premade plates enameled in Blue for water and Yellow for diesel. You may also want to put a water filter on the fill line to at least catch any foreign junk. And lastly you should mount a float valve in the lids one for each tank to purge the air in filling yet not allow water to leak out. You will need one more in the filling tube to allow air to enter as the water is used (preventing a vacuum) a T and an elbow near the deck fill so the float allows air in but prevents water to leak out.
I don't know how I could have missed a day but no worries, I get to watch yesterdays and todays back to back. And just for the record Ben, you and MP are freaking Rock Stars, every day has been full of hard work and swet and you guys are smiling through it all when most people would be giving up. Don't forget you need an air diplacement valve for your water tanks.
Goodness- o felt like i just watched 2 episodes in that one episode so much was happening. The stainless work was incredible to see in action. Love the fact you decide to build something and just cut another hole in the solid wood - no fibreglass, no epoxy patching. Keep up the great work and editing. 2 days to go and you can collapse on Christmas day
Davit, new anchor, dock water supply, collection tank, transfer system, more deck cleaning & staining and some painted artwork. Very busy day. Good spare storm anchor.
You guys did a week of work in one day. Someone was praying for no rain! It has been fun having extra episodes this month. What water maker system are you guys planing to install that will fit your boat?
Well done on the water system, it was long overdue, but now you are smiling, smiling, smiling. Don't drop the ball, you guys are nearly there. Oh and that deck of yours is = beautiful = WELL DONE WELL DONE WELL DONE!!!!!!
I thought you may have been overcome with all the projects going at once but am happy to see we are going to be getting TWO videos today!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Comment for the algorithm and if you are reading this please subscribe to this wonderful channel... your soul will thank you for it! Cheers!!!
You guys define youth and enthusiasm not only for project Yaba but for Brazil and the work ethic all around. In far away Oz, we are just as enthusiastic about our spirit and wry to recall that we only have one nuclear reactor and when it needed to be replaced the source was Brazil !!! Strange segway but really just enthused with the savy and Joie de vrie de Team Yaba !!!!
Hang in there folks the end is in sight. It’s wonderful to see all you’ve accomplished and to watch Yaba get dressed. I can hardly wait until tomorrow. Merry Christmas and happy new year (with rest and family time in between!).
Hey guuys can I suggest that you put a isolation valve between port and starboard tanks just incase you have water contamination. It makes it easier to pick up better fresh water and ensures you a have safe drinking water if something happens that you can't avoid untill you can clean and refill all tanks Ive loved everything you have done and have been watching since the beginning Best of luck and love to you
Mp You definitely have different ideas for your floating home these are not things that i would want in my vessel but i have to admire you creativity and work ethic you will definitely have the most unique vessel out there. Ben your hard work is paying off she is getting ship shape all the best mateys
Its great you opted for the daily videos. Great entertainment and a testament to your dedication and hard work. Thanks for sharing,, Best wishes> Feliz Navidad!!!
You need a valve towards each separate tank. There are too many cases where you might want to separate tanks. The best would be a separate hose to each tank and the valves within reach closer to the filling hose. Happy Christmas!
Just put a tap in each connecting pipe. Each tank may or may not need a breather but certainly there needs to be one somewhere. You can't pump liquid out of system without one.
Very well done boys! I'd just consider having more than one water inlet to speed up the process and as a backup. Also, it can be handy when the hose is not long enough. Cheers!
As I read the comments I think that everything was covered. Such a beautiful blessing to see MP so happy the smiles warm my heart and Ben good job on the decking and water containers. And MP you are adorable 😊
Ohhh my goodness I love the pink Dolphin, wow how amazing it must be to see!! Love the different sea creatures for the doors too! What a fun idea!! Can't wait to see them installed🎉. Great job Ben on getting the water filling port installed!! 🎉🎉
Community tip... If you ever have a tubing structure built, be sure to have an insert that can be plug welded at every connection point. Makes the end product much, much stronger. Also, if possible, weld an exterior bracelet at every bend. 👍🏻 Merry Christmas to everyone. To you and yours.🎅
Very nice project!! I saw my brother at Idealize, he helped making some Yabá pieces shiny!! Cool!! 🤩 Good job it's gonna be beautiful!! Success guys and Merry Christmas!!

Ben you need a vent pipe to go up above the deck to let out the air in the last tank so you can get the maximum amount of water, one fitted with a non return valve., so the sea water can't get into the system .
Maybe you could have your ladder stainless and attached to the davits. It could be clipped on or something and a line attached so you can deploy it while in the water.

You need a tank breather tube that is also an overflow tube
no, they do not, it is all play it's not work.
@@brian.7966yes they are working very hard for there end game but this is sound advice they need a vent and overflow for there water tank why would you say they don't
Some valves between the water tanks might be a good idea - allows you to isolate tanks in case of leaks or contamination.
Don't forget to put breather lines on your tanks
I noticed one thing, i would recommend for you to do. Love the Videos by the way. Double hose claps,on all water, and other fittings. I know there’re Stainless,BUT it wont last. Good advice. Saltwater eats everything

Two is one and one is none. Double hose clamps on everything.
Vents on your water tanks ? Water in, air out and water out air in. 🙂
Hey guys you are doing well but remember one very important thing, to make the water to flow well the tanks need breathing tube so the air can escape
I don't usually comment but you guys are killing it. This is one thing I've noticed after watching your channel is that you are both relentless. Huge respect. Amazing work. Thanks for sharing!

The fill opening is higher than the tanks . All of them will fill up without a problem . Congratulations on getting the water tanks plumb in .
Great work and the boat is,fantastic looking. Your water tanks will need to have vents to equalize pressure in and out. Best on your next voyage.
Nice video, very nice progress 👍👍 But I think that at least the last tank needs a vent with a tube that leads outside the air

How about some vents for the tanks? Filling will be much faster and also less chance of vapor lock. Merry Christmas!
I amazed at the sheer amount of work that you are doing!!! ❤❤❤
I always had a big swivel on my anker to compensate for the swinging around .
