Everybody, please pay attention to the score on these games when he hits home-runs.
How MEANINGFUL the home-runs are is also relevant.
Good point!
Literally only hits Home Runs when the game is on the line. Guy is a MACHINE
I was going to say the same
And how many of them was him recognizing when the pitcher plain missed. Seems majority of them the catcher was set up waaay away from where the pitch ended up. My all time favorite player doing what he always has in rhe uniform he's meant to where
👀
Once he started getting close to the 700 mark, I enjoyed no matter the stadium all the fans attending were cheering for him!
I got to witness 690 in person. even at 60% capacity(school was back on) Busch went NUTS
The best part of this is that it’s not just a “padding numbers” kinda run, he’s hitting meaningful big moment homeruns to help the team win.
MLB ruined his 700th for STL. our own broadcasters couldn't call it because apple TV got it...
I wish Dan McLaughlin got to call it, but that’s just unfortunate timing. I was lucky to have Apple TV so I could see it live.
On behalf of all STL we turned TF up for his 700th was not ruined at all
@@elijahthegreat2023it wasn’t that it was not hit at Busch stadium but the fact that it was on Apple TV so the cardinals broadcasters could not call it. The reaction from the dodgers crowd was really good though.
The call was not bad tho, randazzo stepped up for the moments
Agree! It just doesn’t have the same feel as listening to cardinals broadcasters calling it.
What's remarkable: The dude is 2nd all Time in Total Bases. He's in the Mount Rushmore of Hitters in baseball history.
One of the few literal Gods of the game
If not for all the injuries he had while in Anaheim, I'm very confident that he breaks Bonds' all-time HR record.
Two cool facts about Albert's homers this year:
1) Only four were hit before the All-Star break. Two of those were in the same game, and one of those was off a position player.
2) The Cardinals have only lost one game this season in which Albert hit a home run; his second, back in April.
Albert Pujols should get a unanimous vote when he gets inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Anybody who doesn't vote for him for the HOF is a damn fool!!
It would be really dumb if he didn't get an unanimous vote to the HOF.
He will be the third player in 700 Club to be in the Hall. In all honesty, I think Bonds may never get in not because I don't like the guy but the voters will never give him a chance because of the allegations.
It’ll be a miracle. I mean Ken Griffey Jr wasn’t even a unanimous vote (which is crazy). Pujols SHOULD be, but you know how these clown voters in the media are.
@@chrisjacobs196 The only ones that won't vote for him are the Cubs ones.
Its kinda overlooked he passed Ruth in RBI's best damn clutch hitter I've ever seen
Incredible stuff. Reminds me of David Ortiz's final season. Pujols deserves a unanimous 1st ballot induction into the HoF. Greatest hitter the past two decades.
Unanimous 1st ballot for sure. Greatest RH hitter to ever play the game, no comparison. Albert struck hesitation and fear into damn near every pitcher he faced because they knew they had a 1 in 3 chance of him taking the next pitch deep, striking out, or getting a base hit.
This man was unanimously FEARED by damn near every pitcher he ever faced
700 homeruns the fourth man to do that should prove he is an unanimous 1st ballot hall of fame with a doubt
gonna be tough to see him walk away, but he's such a legend he'll never be forgotten
I'm a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. So, I'm very happy for Mr. Pujols for becoming the 4th MLB player to join the 700 home run club. Congratulations, Albert. All of the Cardinals fans are very proud of you. The Cardinals players are very proud of you too.
@@joerodriguez2817 every party has a party pooper. 💩 You stink
Over 5 solid hours of running the bases from his home runs. Incredible
Well, he is the second-slowest runner in MLB (Yadi is first); it takes him approximately two minutes to round the bases once.
@@bigbigbigdoug he didn't have to run fast after knocking them in the stands. He could've walked the bases if he felt like it.
My best life moment of MLB was the first time I watched a game life at the Yankees stadium 1985 until the 700 Home runs of Albert Pujols. Thank you Albert!!!!!!!
I'm a lifelong Padres fan, but this man is the epitome of what Baseball should be. Hard work, humble, steady production throughout his entire career. Truly earned the nickname "The Machine". It's been so fun to watch! I'm glad he got the 700 mark, I wish he had another year or two to make a run at Bonds.
can't imagine back to back 30 homer seasons from a 46 year old haha
@@F.r.e.a.k.e.n.s.t.e.i.n 45,46,47,48? Who knows lol that’s the funny part of all this.
who cares... Bonds was a big phony. He shouldn't be part of the club. In my eyes he never hit 700 nor bested 61 in a season. McGuire and Sosa should be scrubbed from the records, as well.
@@ubernate860 ok so this is a serious debate among the men in my family. Bonds, McGuire and Sosa all cheated, no doubt about it. But to say that it didn't count is up for debate. At the time they supposedly started using steroids they were not illegal. The league banned PEDs in 1991 but didn't even begin to test for them until 2003. So basically they were legal until 2003, because they were not enforcing the law they had made.
The other side of the argument is what do steroids do, they make you STRONGER. They do nothing for hand eye coordination, ability to make contact,
Pitch detection, etc. The tools needed to be a great hitter were there, they just added an extra 40-50 feet onto the ball every time they hit it.
Again this is a hot topic debate, opinions sway wildly to either side depending on the arguments made for or against. Please feel free to join in and help prove or disprove the point!!!
@@NemosNightmare - Those guys were enhanced, but they also saved baseball. While I consider Aaron to still be the true career home run king, baseball was dying a slow death until McGwire and Sosa (and later Bonds) started hitting 60+.
Took my 2 boys to see their first mlb game at Pittsburgh when he hit 696 and they really got excited after that. Was a great experience and a great time with my boys. Loved every minute of it.
Everyone loves this guy, hall of famer and all time great
Being that I'm born and raised in the STL, where taught to "root for the home team" which for us means the Cards. I even have a Cardinals tattoo. It's kinda normal to represent the city here. But, to see all these Cardinals fans across the states? Cardinal Nation? It really makes me proud 😁 Let's go Cardinals!!!!!
there's nothing about this baseball season i love more than Pujols coming back to St. Louis for his final year. Beautiful.
Doesn’t matter who your team is. When your a fan of baseball, you can’t help but be a fan of Albert pujols on this historical run for 700!!! What a ball player! What a career! What a legend! Albert Pujols is baseball!
The fact that he’s doing this without performance enhancing drugs like steroids is AMAZING. Mad respect.
The greatest
And how do you know he isn't doing it without steroids? LMAO.
@@greatestnitemare6626 how do you know he is? Question goes both ways
@@greatestnitemare6626 he’s been doing this forever. He’s not judge that just starts hitting 70 hrs. Ask judge that question lol

I've been watching Albert play since Spring Raining, 2001.
He's not just making records, he's been carrying the Cardinals
Albert hasn't lost any power. Matter of fact, I feel like he's more of a power hitter now than ever.
I f**king love baseball and Albert!
El Hombre!!! This is why baseball is the best! Only baseball can bring a grown man to tears. Tears of absolute joy! Thank you, so much, Mr. Pujols! You've provided us Cardinal fans, and just baseball fans in general, with so many wonderful memories. We cannot thank you enough!
I’m a fan of the Cardinals and saw Albert hit 700 home runs against LA
The greatest hitter of all time home run king
No. Calm down killer. ONE of the greats.
@@ryanlhobson13 who better and don't say Barry Bonds
In this order. Rose, Cobb, Williams, Bonds, Ruth, Aaron, Mantle, Gwynn, Wagner, shoeless Joe, then we can think about Albert.
@@ashleyp3662 bro you said don’t say Barry Bonds cause you know he’s way better 🤣
10 years STRAIGHT of .300+ avg, 30+ Home Runs, 100+ RBI’s. Incredible.
He wasn't just hitting homeruns. He was hitting CLUTCH homeruns.
congratulations to Albert Pujols for 700 home runs
that's major accomplishment. I'm not even a cardinals fan either but I was still rooting for him to get it before he retired at the end of the season I'll be very surprised if he's not the player of the week he deserves it
Absolutely incredible what he’s been doing this season. Some of those are crushed!
he is STLs michael jordan..when he retires and the full stats and documentaries are made it will be unreal we are all lucky witnesses.forget how good of a person he is too with his special needs philanthropy etc etc DEFINITELY best player of our gen maybe all time
And Molina is Pippen?
@@WackJallis lol forsure..Waino would be Paxson I guess (or grant)
Guy has such a clean swing, combined with just being a brute of a man. Has let him keep his bat into an advanced age.
you can see the stands getting more and more crowded as the hype builds
What a legend.
It’s doesn’t matter what team you pull for, every true baseball fan was/is a fan of Albert this season.
Brought tears to my eyes man. ..GREATNESS
Albert Pujols, from 402nd Draft Pick to 'The Machine’.
He comes back to STL 5 years earlier........no COVID year........he's knocking at Bond's door no doubt.....
Most exciting Cardinals season of my lifetime!
Love seeing the road fans applauding along with the Cardinals fans. Appreciate greatness
Let’s go Albert! Congrats on the 700 mark🙂
The only heartbreaking thing about this is the fact that danny mac didnt get to call it! He deserved to..
Brilliant player, and an absolute legend! 💪💪 I'm sure even opposing teams and fans are rooting for him to reach that 700 goal! 🔥🔥
I love how an entire community came together to watch some old, paunchy guy cement his place in history. I love baseball so fu*king much
Desde RD contento todos con la maquina Dios lo siga vendiciendo 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
Can't wait to see number 4,5 and 50 on that retired wall in Busch under the jumbotron
Just hearing the names he’s passed this season is mind blowing. Most extra bases. Games played. And on and on. Wow.
He has the career repertoire of a literal God of Baseball
Now do a video of all of his home runs 1-700
According to Statcast,Pujols’ spring speed is about 22.9 feet/hour.
It takes him 26sec. run back to home plate.
700*26=18200=about 5 hours=video long😮
Worth every second
It’s Sir Albert to me. He’s Royalty when it comes to baseball. So happy he got to 700. He earned it.
Sir? Try *King* Albert.
That's *KING* Albert, good sir...
ok its a great time to be a baseball fan we have albert doing this, Vladdy Jr,Aaron judge, Shohei Ohtani and many more once in lifetime players
Greatest baseball player ever
" It's like you never left " - tears...
9:10-9:14 that was an awesome catch by the fan! i love when ppl make web gems! lmao!
Watching his home runs again .How Sweet!
Absolutely GOAT!
Can you believe that man is 42 years old (maybe older)?
Unbelievable
GOAT Hitter I've Ever Seen
I have to say I thought he'd fall short of 700 as it was happening.
King Albert. Long may he reign 👑
684- watched live. I could not care less about the outcome of the game. That made my day LOL I was jumping up and down
0:50 A home run so towering that the brewers lost a run
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was behind home plate for 684 and I will never forget that moment
I was up the 3rd base line slightly back of the Rockies dugout for 690 and GOD DAYUM did Busch erupt, even being a midweek game so close to back 2 school season.
Classy response from the Dodgers and their fans. Thanks for recharging The Machine!
*And that completes the Mount Rushmore of baseball.*
God bless you Albert pujols 🙌🏽
congratulations mr Pujols true legend of cardinals
I am so happy for Albert and for the Cardinals for bringing him home.
Albert’s return to St. Louis is the only upside to the universal designated hitter, and I’m more than content with that.
i remember earlier in the year people were doubting him saying it’s unlikely he will get to 700 , those same exact people in the comments praising him now 🤦🏽♂️
The machine forever ❤
Been such a joy to watch his career. Congratulations Mr Pujols
So awesome to see this happen in my lifetime! Absolute legend!
Man if he didnt give up on life for half a decade by going to the Angels I wonder what his end of career stats would look like 0.o
I was at numero 700 i was at the dodgers game it’s just crazy how Albert Pulos is the 4th MLB player in all baseball history to do it
Desde RD contento todos con la maquina Dios lo siga vendiciendo
Albert is once of a lifetime player he was my favorite player and will probably always Will be he changed the game and will probably never have his records broken. The impact he brought to game will never be forgotten how many people love albert and all the fans will never forget this season one the greatest to ever do and will never be forgotten in baseball
There will NEVER be another RH hitter that even TOUCHES the greatness of Pujols. He will stand alone in Cooperstown as a testament to the game itself
Loved how everyone shows so much respect for the game. Amazing
Cool that some young cardinals fans caught the second homer of the video at the away stadium
He. is. a.beast! As a Puertorrican, im proud of my RD brother! Yadi metele bro! Hope they win it all! Yadi is the engine!
I don’t want this season to end.
All-Star Break is at 3:55 - guy has been on such a tear lately
The Machine Albert Pujols The Greatest Baseball ⚾ Player Of All Time As The Home Run King 👑🐐.
The fact he was cranking bombs well over 400' at the end of his career 😮
Thank you for this, MLB
I love getting 30 seconds of ads after every 3rd home run
He is on 🔥
It's the fact that when it comes off his bat, something that looks like a line drive to left field ends up being like, 458 ft.
プホルスさん本当におめでとうございます🎉
MLB, your advertisement configurations on this RUclips channel are EXTREMELY aggressive, please minimize the amount and length of those ads, thanks!
I would like to offer my Congratulations to the one and only Albert Pujols on reaching 700 career Home Runs joining Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth in the 700 Home Run Club and soon gonna be in the Hall of Fame. And I hope he and his Cardinals teammates can make his journey to the World Series in Albert's final season! Good luck to Albert and his team and make their 11-year World Series Championship drought come true!
I was thinking that nobody mention that he played in a era with probably the best pitchers in MLB history. He faced Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, Clayton Kershaw, CC Sabathia, Justin Verlander, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson. Just to name a few
God I wish He'd come back next year...12 away from passing Ruth...That be historic achievement...He could definitely do that....How far past Ruth not sure...But if he smacks 30 homers, he's just 31 away from Bonds 🤯
That swing. The man finishes one-hand, holding probably a 32oz bat vertical.
マジでほんまに700打つとは思わんかった
凄すぎる
THE LEGEND.
thats incredible
He’s the Greatest to ever do it

So glad Pujols was able to get to 700!
Congrats Goat!!!!!
Dios Patria Libertad
Albert Pujols es el mejor bateador de la historia
Dios bendiga a Albert Pujols
Many of these were clutch too 🙌 😳
Such a pretty swing
If The Machine Isn't In The Hall Of Fame. Cardinal Fans, Dodger Fans, And Angel Fans Will Be Mad.
wonderful to see Albert honor his lover after hitting the HR!
Love it!!
Que grande eres Pujols 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
