I love cats but I'm allergic. My granddaughter has a beautiful cat. When I was at my daughters in bed she would lay at the end of the bed, but if she turned around n saw me looking at her, she would jump up and off the bed. Goofy cat! She would come up n lay on my chest. I had to change when she got down, it was worth it.
There's a specific type of egg powder that you can feed the cat. Because you're not allergic against the cat but rather allergens it produces. And there are chicken that can be fed in specific manner to get egg powder that prevents the formation of said allergens in the cat. Try to search engine for "cat allergy Fel d1 egg" and you should get the science and should be able to figure out in what form you can get that stuff and from what suppliers in your country!
Apparently, the Himalayan cats are hypoallergenic. They are a cross between a Siamese and a Persian. My sister had a lovely one and her husband wasn’t bothered by it.
@quantumhealerca hypoallergenic cats are a myth, but a long-haired, double-coated cat may have less allergens coming loose and flying around. @donnalamb6391 There's a food that can be fed to cats to reduce their allergens, and I've heard it may work, but would recommend using it in conjunction with a HEPA filter. You know, in case you ever decide to try out having a cat. Fostering with a cat rescue could be a good way to test this. Kittens under 11 weeks don't produce the allergens in noticeable levels, so definitely a suitable age range for fostering.
As much as they can be a pain (we have 2 adolescents now....) they at least bother to say mrrrpp to me as a greeting before demanding food. Then come the shits. But the mrrrpps and miews make alright 🥰
Eee, I was married to a lad from the Fellin' for a time. I nearly peed myself when she mentioned the place cuz I was always the one that had to deal half-dead mice and such. Besides... without a thought of the consequences, he'd've probably done it on the posh tile floor in the kitchen, the daft ha'p'th, so I'd've had to clean it up anyway. He grew up right in the heart of the Fellin'. 😄😆😉
For the last story: first, absolutely NTD for the money. It's just smart to have a savings that can be your freedom in case you decide not to stay with him. I agree with Jamie and Shaaba about taking some time and decide if you are just staying for the kids or for the Easter of staying, or if you would really rather be done with the relationship. If you decide to leave, look into the laws about marital assets in your location. Where I live, divorces are 50/50 splits unless otherwise decided. In that sort of case, it may be best not to have the money you saved to leave in the bank account anymore. This is from someone who had a secret account in case I needed to leave and take the kids for our safety. I wish you all the happiness and peace with whatever choices you make 💖
I leave dead shrews my cat sometimes brings back or leaves in the garden on the outside of windowsill (so garden) and bigger birds eat it. So at least food for other wildlife.
I adopted a cat that surprised me with fleas. I was sensitive to certain bugs, so each little flea bite was very angry looking. Perfectly round, irritated, swollen marks with a crusty center. All over my arms. They looked exactly like cigarette burns, said two very concerned doctors fearing self harm.
I've taken them to the vet. Bird couldn't fly but would have recovered another bird more hurt. The vets take native animals that are hurt for free, not sure if they put it down but at least they do it and if so it's humane.
So everyone saying keep the cats inside- we have tiny houses in the U.K.. so they don’t have a huge exercise area. Also by law we have the 5 freedoms of animal welfare.
Sarah, get yourself a catio. You must have enough money from traveling. Or get yourself a set up like walter santi in Turkey does where he has a whole garden for his cats. You will worry less about everything.
Keeping a cat indoors all the time is cruel especially when you don't live in a city. I wouldn't think that anyone would do that to a dog, why should it be done to a cat?
@ Only if you don’t make sure to activate it. Jason Galaxy seems to know what he’s about, and he has no problem with properly tended indoor cats. And you don’t let your dog run free, or at least you ought not

Depends where you live. I'd not recommend eating a city pigeon, because due to how disgusting a species humans are, their diets are pretty awful. But if it was a wood pigeon? Fine, no bother, because their diet doesn't consist of whatever rubbish we've puked up on the floor. 😂
