- "I often talk about the future of guitar - future of music - future of design. Hmmm maybe not a coincidence I'm a also a big fan of science fiction literature and movies, ha! Needless to say that I'm very excited of this possibility to interview a man who seems to own a better crystal ball than most of us do."
Let's have a chat with Douglas Castro, the founder of Darkglass Electronics and Neural DSP. Why has he succeeded so remarkably well... twice!? Two companies built from ground up to market leaders in just a bit over 10 years. A rare occasion, to say the least!
This Live Q&A broadcast is targeted to all who enjoy guitars & basses, be it players, enthusiasts or collectors alike! The program is not about the guitars we make in my company Ruokangas Guitars. I'm doing this for you, who are interested in learning more about your instrument. The brand or monetary value of your guitar makes no difference whatsoever.
Talk to you soon,
Juha

What doug and his team have created is amazing. Both of his companies are game changer. Also, especially with Darkglass, they
they are defining the standard modern bass sound for rock and metal. Thanks Juha for sharing this interview with us, I took some good notes looking for inspiration. I also started to follow your work as a luthier, it's amazing. Greetings from Chile.
Hello! Glad you liked the interview! Happy to know that you're following my work now also. :)
In case some of you are wondering, the exact name of the book Doug and I talked about in the interview was 'Meditations' by Marcus Aurelius. Stoic philosophy.. good stuff!
Fantastic interview & great look at what drive, determination & effort looks like. A++ 👌🏼❌🤘🏼🔥
This was really a great interview. As a user of the quad cortex I have become impressed by Doug's leadership and vision for NDSP.
I can relate with the temperalmental part, i think i have to get a hold of that book... good interview.
Please ask the guy with the vintage gear to upload his captures. What's his name? Lossie?
Thank you, I'll talk to Lassi about this! :)
